I purchased that from a guy on ebay. Before purchase I emailed him and asked him if it was an authentic nintendo wii remote he said they were only sold in korea and its very rare. So i got the wiimote yesterday. First thing I noticed is the model number on the wiimote says its a rvl-003 which isnt a motion plus model. the motion plus model is rvl-036. Besides the model number its would almost impossible to tell its a counterfeit controller by the looks of it.

So i synced it up with my wii and noticed the speaker volume was extremely loud and crackly. I figured I could deal with that. So i tried to play some wii sport resort golf. When it tells me to place on flat surface to calibrate it, it failed twice before it would calibrate successfully. Now when I swing it pulls to the right every time. My other remotes don't do that. Also when you open it up to put in the batteries you can tell its got a different pcb in it from all the other remotes. The molding markers on the silicone jacket and are another give away.

Long story short, its a counterfeit product and I was mislead into believing it was a legit product. I'm trying to get the guy to give me my money back but if he doesn't what should I do? I still haven't left feedback but i feel I should leave some kind of feedback saying its a counterfeit product so others don't get duped into buying it too.

Sorry to hear that man. Edit your feedback straight away and file a Paypal claim.

And then have a look here but most importantly look here

File a complaint with eBay, thats what it's there for.

If you paid with Paypal you can file a complaint as well.

Dont leave a negative feedback just yet, do the complaint first and also email/contact him letting him know the product is not what you were lead to believe it was.

From Scams post it seems ebay doesn't really care. It would take far too much effort for ebay to go full on anti fraud. The whole company is a f*cking disgrace.

I'm all with the guy in Scams first link - Stay British (or at least stay in your own geographic domain).

Yea just go straight for a Paypal claim.

I would edit the feedback because it will hopefully stop others from suffering the same. I don't see any good reason not to edit feedback to negative.

There's no point contacting the seller and telling him that the product isn't right - he already knows that. He's obviously dishonest so just give him the full force.

you went ebay why for one ?. To save about $5-$7 lmao ?. Newegg has them has them with a chuk for $38.

i was mainly going for the red one. Its a very good good counterfeit, if they got the model number right it would be pretty hard to tell the difference.

here the wiimote

Edit : im dumb

Paypal claim, it automatically contacts the seller and is a realistic way to get your money back

NOTE

"Nintendo has released a limited edition red Wii for the 25th anniversary of Super Mario Bros on November 17, 2010 in Japan,[31] October 29, 2010 in Europe,[32] and November 7, 2010 in North America.[33] The bundle includes a Red Wii Remote Plus and Nunchuk."

All red ones should come with a nunchuck, that shoulda been the first tip off

I would contact seller first, as it may be a genuine mistake.

How ever the stamped serial number is missing ( should be where the Nintendo logo is under the back cover) so it's not a legit Nintendo one for sure.

Could be wrong but I buy and sell these at work and seem to recall the serial being there.

yeah but they sell seperate in japan and korea. Ive looked them up on a few different korean and japanese sites to confirm before i purchased.
