I purchased that from a guy on ebay. Before purchase I emailed him and asked him if it was an authentic nintendo wii remote he said they were only sold in korea and its very rare. So i got the wiimote yesterday. First thing I noticed is the model number on the wiimote says its a rvl-003 which isnt a motion plus model. the motion plus model is rvl-036. Besides the model number its would almost impossible to tell its a counterfeit controller by the looks of it.
So i synced it up with my wii and noticed the speaker volume was extremely loud and crackly. I figured I could deal with that. So i tried to play some wii sport resort golf. When it tells me to place on flat surface to calibrate it, it failed twice before it would calibrate successfully. Now when I swing it pulls to the right every time. My other remotes don't do that. Also when you open it up to put in the batteries you can tell its got a different pcb in it from all the other remotes. The molding markers on the silicone jacket and are another give away.
Long story short, its a counterfeit product and I was mislead into believing it was a legit product. I'm trying to get the guy to give me my money back but if he doesn't what should I do? I still haven't left feedback but i feel I should leave some kind of feedback saying its a counterfeit product so others don't get duped into buying it too.
