And it would be worse for them right now if they were part of the EU and were sharing the EU's problems.
Funny how it is, if the group it is happy you like that you are in it, if the group have problems, you tell that are 'theirs problems', it is like in marriage, hope the UK will do good after exit, I like all to make it, but the signs are not good, the price will increase on IT, who need to buy something in near future(or make a investition), as UK citizen, buy now(like gtx1080, I heard it is a luxury in UK)...

And you say that from Greece after all they have done to your country...
And that's something that should make you start thinking, because right now you don't think. What will happen if Europe ends up once more 50 small countries? Every country will try to find a stronger country, to make alliances and bound itself on that country's chariot. That country will probably be USA, in some cases France, or Germany, or GB, and in some other cases Russia, even -why not- China. If Europeans are having problems talking to each other in a European Union, what will happen when there will be 50 different countries that are doing what their stronger ally commands them to do? Think of three neighboring countries, one having close relationships with Germany, one with USA and one with Russia. No thanks.

And as a Greek while I have plenty to say to European officials and especially the Germans, who should stop taking orders from the German bankers and start acting like a balancing and unifying force, I don't want to stay alone with Sultan Erdogan in one side and fanatic nationalists in Albania and Fyrom in the other side dreaming having the chance to take parts of my country. Those three could end up really good buddies in the future, if EU dissolves. So, as you can see I am not a shortsighted person thinking with my pockets.

Looks like this idiotic brexit is a disaster from every angle.
Bias noted.
This might have had more validity if you kept your personal feelings out of it.

This is a forum, so I'm entitled to my opinion, as are you. My post is perfectly valid.

Let's stick to the topic of hardware prices affected by this brexit rather than taking a pop at me, people.

I was talking about Norway, which was never part of the EU so yes the EU's problems are not Norway's problems, and yes, there will a short term hit on the UK's economy but i think in the long run it's what's best for the UK.

Anyway, isn't the big issue trade deals and market access? Why would the EU, with Germany and France leading the pack, allow the UK the same trade access they had before? They can't have the cake and eat it too, and we can't let it look easy to leave, now can we? And about controlling their own destiny: BS. Everything I read about the UK is them implementing retarted laws, bowing to US demands and now they have less say in small things like the TTIP. Not to mention the crap they have to negotiate with the EU. London was the financial heart of the EU, now it'll be Paris or something. Everything I read from leavers is essentially about nostalgia. Great Britain my ass, it hasn't been great in decades, if ever.

The EU didn't screw Greece. Greeks screwed Greece. Greeks expect to retire at 50 years old and sponge off of the taxpayers for another 30 years of their lives. Their economy is a shambles (aside from the tourist industry) and they have begged Germany and France for handouts until it's silly to keep them afloat any longer. I don't blame England for dumping the EU.

:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:
The U.S. view was they should have stayed in EU.
I think Frick means the government is always bowing to US demands. This was the population voiting out. Cameron was a dumbass for calling the referendum in the first place and I'm pretty sure I know why he did it, but that's unfortunately outside the scope of this thread. Please PM me if you'd like to talk about this aspect of it. :)

Why would the EU, with Germany and France leading the pack, allow the UK the same trade access they had before?

Because a large number of jobs in the EU rely on exporting to the UK. If they ignore that and take the hit on their own employment and revenue then they would be very spiteful (so it may happen, but logical and reasonable people would want to reach a trade deal that meets the needs of both sides).
