The point of this thread is to give the new members easy access to what the members of this "forum" would recommend when building a PC. So im looking for alot of input from you guys on what should be here from the best motherboards to the best hard drives. I will make a list for the extreme PC builder down to the budget pc builder.

HDD's: Hitachi: Have had 10 or 11 since mid 90's[IBM]and only had 1 failure an 8Gb [after 6/7 yrs] and EVERY unit I have had as been THE quietest, far More than my [4]Seagates or [1] Western Digital
Video: I'm still really pleased with the XFX HD5870 XXX edition[a LOT less$$ now]
DDR2: The Mushkin Blackline Frostbyte 1066 and their Redline 1000 both hold pretty tight timings
PSU: XFX Black Edition 750 watt/{Corsair 750HX both based on Seasonic M12D} from jonnyguru the XFX is the "cleanest" unit he's had yet. He give's 'em hell!!! w/cross-loads ect...

The only thing I can think of adding would be alternative cooling water cooling kit such as a CoolIT ECO, Vantage or Corsair H50, H70. They seem to be gaining popularity. :D

Im going to keep this upto date as possible as hardware changes the list will too. so anything that really deserves to be added pm me or post here:toast:
