Built new system but stuck on Integrated graphics.

Only thing that puts me off nvidia is the stupid connector... and less ram too.

Also! Anyone here use groove land or have heard of it?
I have used them. The worst thing is they use DHL for International Shipping and they love to charge you extra "fees".

There is no comparison between a 6900XT and 7900XT be prepared to get that smile installing compelling hardware brings.

Hmmm, I'm tempted...

We'll see if it makes me happy. :D

Going to get the 6900XT fixed if I can.

£700 replacement recommendations? Or I might contact northwest repair...:ohwell:

I wonder of a smd was knocked off or if you ESD'd through the card. I hope Northridgefix can help you, because northwest repair came off as a whiny little bitch.

He does love to complain about AMD cards.

And you don't hear that from northridge. He actually enjoys the work he does, he hates having to be firm with some customers though.

Whiney bitch or not, if he can fix my card for the right price, I'm happy.

Ok man Northwest repair is the whiny little bitch, Northridgefix is not, so go with Northridgefix

Maybe consider hitting up Adamant IT in the UK first. He normally works on laptops and macbooks but he has done graphic cards and gaming consoles in the past. If he manages to sort your issue out then that saves you paying a ton of money to send it to and from America.

::EDIT::

And yes - Ive watched this guy repair a lot of stuff. He's not as experienced in dealing with graphic cards as Northridgefix but he's not completely clueless when he has a circuit board in front of him. I have not dealt with him personally but I trust him enough to recommend him after watching him do board level repairs for a very very long time.

::EDIT 2::

Oh. And I fixed the f**king link. It SHOULD link to Adamant IT now.

::EDIT 3::

STYX is a great band and I regret nothing.

This is one of the reasons TPU is so special. Real information to help interface with repair services including reviews.

Came across this company a few days ago when I was looking for something similar albeit just out of curiousity as I know the previous mentioned Northwest repairs are US based, https://www.bhawkgaming.co.uk/ there are a few out there in the UK who are able to do PCB level repair, reflow/reballs, SMD replacements etc, some of them do list their initial diagnostic and return shipping fee so you know as a minimum what you are going to be paying and depending on the outcome they also list repair and parts costs (GDDDR5/6/6x 1GB/2GB etc SMD capacitors, rails etc) the company I linked has a reasonable £60 diagnostic and return shipping cost, so that's the bare minimum to get a diagnostic and have it returned to you, obivously they would then advise the cost of any parts/repairs to bring it back to a working state, definitely not soemthing you would do with a £200 GPU though for higher end ones I can see the value instead of having to shell out and buy a replacement, assuming you have no warranty on the 6900XT or else you would be sending it in for RMA
