How is it 350USD when I did a currency exchange conversion and it comes out to under 300USD? This is why I asked for YOUR budget in YOUR currency. It's more confusing for USD and live in another country.

i dont believe that the curency conversion rate differs so much. 1usd =~ 0.6 GBP. so the card that you offed costs 223 gbp and its about 350 usd. isnt that right?

it's useless to search for vga's directly in lithuania, because the cards are well overpriced. that's why im in search for them at techpowerup, ocn and so on

HD6900 2GB would turn out better. 560ti odds are can be found cheaper than the 2GB HD6900 series. Both would be rare, but on par with each other in performance. The 5850 is I would say about 15-20% slower overall.

Stock, they perform about the same; the 560ti overclocks better but the 6950 has twice the memory. 5850 isn't as good as either.

here's a quick benchmark/comparison of the two cards. I'm assuming stock settings for them.

seems the 560ti edges out a bit, and uses about 30w of power (or 2.5A) less than the other card. If the price is right, go for the 560ti

That's unlikely. Your best bet is an HD6950 or 560 Ti. I doubt many people would be selling them until Nvidia's new line of GPU's comes out in a month or so (rumor). It never hurts to keep an eye on the Marketplace though since from time to timr newer stuff does go through there.
