So over on the Ubi forum some guys moaning because his 5970 can't run W_D on high..

He has a Sapphire 2GB 5970 (dual GPU card)

So naturally each GPU gets 1Gb of ram right? 2x 1024Mb chips one used by each GPU...


Please help me, how do I explain it to this moron that only each GPU has access to 1GB of ram.

I found this on a website.
Each 40nm GPU has access to a 1GB frame buffer bringing the grand total of memory on the card to 2.0 GB!
