CoD4 rank patch?

I forgot to save my stats from my now formatted western digital drive.. AGAIN... Im about to stop playing forever next time this happens. I remember reading about a patch that you just copy+paste into your folders and your lvl 55 but I cant find it anywhere..

Don't do that. People who do that should be shot in real life.

Whenever I reformat, I have a "Saved Games" folder where I copy/paste every folder for every game I play. Just make yourself a checklist of things to do when you reformat. Much simpler, and you're not a cheater

Ive done that twice now too. Second time, I got to lvl 29 i think it was. Odd thing is is that all my games are installed on a different hard drive so the stats should have stayed in place. I have since said "fuck it" and i quit playing the game. They should hold my MP stats not me.

Like mine? Hah just, quote it like you would to get it into a normal reply. Then copy that whole quote that comes up in the reply. Paste it into sig, and you good to go!

I stand by my original statement. Just have a method to reformatting. If you actually make a checklist, you won't lose any of your files.

I guess reformatting twice monthly helps you forget less...

That sucks man, although it ain't that hard to get lvl 55 but some of the challenges :-s, I keep a back up of my saved games on a spare flash disk, and on my email too lol, uploaded as a draft.

How gives a damn about their rank? Seriously, does it affect your enjoyment that much? I've restarted about 4-5 times now for varying reasons, and I'm still playing.

Rank is everything on cod 4 if you have a low rank and end up top all of a sudden you just get a bunch of kids shouting at you OMG HACKS KICK HIM LEAVE NOW UR HACKING THE SERVER etc, whereas when your a higher rank people wont bother since your skill is shown... How do i know this, friend bought cod 4 helped him level up fairly fast but in turn had some little 4 year olds shouting through the speakers at me ><

High rank means nothing. "Oh look, I have more weapons than you" "uh huh, I'll still pwn your ass with an m16"....

Try reinstalling drivers, use CoD4's optimal settings maybe that should help.. As for RV 6 I don't know maybe it is really the drivers?

Ahh hope they remove ranks I remember patch 1.3/1.4 installed and lost my lvl 55 rank I was so pissed!

I only play on PAM servers now
