Hey Guyz, wich is better:
- Cooler Master Real Power 550w, Or
- Corsair HX620w

Thanxx

Corsair is a much better PS....
EDIT: I won one of those Coolermaster RP 550s in one of their contests, it died shortly after.

The corsair (just check out some reviews)

edit: looking at the specs, that coolermaster has WAY less power on its 12v lines than the 520w corsair, let alone the 620w

corsair...dont insult him guys

The Corsair psu's are some of the best in the business. My 620HX was very stable and quiet. Cooler Master power supplies are not in the same class by any stretch. It's more expensive, but since the power supply is the most important component of your system, it's the one thing you don't want to go cheap on.

My Cooler Master Real Power Pro 650 is humming along nicely. Never once gave me problems and has never hiccuped at any oc Ive thrown at it. Of course, Id be nut retarded to tell you to get it. Corsair is alot better and in fact, it will be powering my new Phenom system. Only it wont be the HX, Ill get the lower priced 650 watt ones, or I may get it who knows.

EDIT: Mine is eXtreme Power. Works just as well though.

I have dealth with a CoolerMaster Igreen 500W and a Corsair 550W - Personally I found the Corsair to be the more able when heavily overclocking my X1950XTX and an 8800GTS 320MB but I can't really fault my CoolerMaster. The CoolerMaster is quieter but they generally have less power on the 12v rails.

Cooler master aren't stable when loaded fully, go with Corsair they are much more expensive, but here you are paying for a quality, not brand

Given the choice I'd def go with Corsair. Overall they seem to be more reliable from everything I've read...
