Colorful put out an official response to the rather embarrassing discovery that the "About" page of its company website has company profile text copied verbatim from that of EVGA, which made for quite some bad press, looking at the comments to our story, and similar stories on the web. The company in an e-mail to us, confirmed that it updated its website with new "About" text, and blames the goof-up on an outsourced web-design company that "temporarily put the wrong information."

"We would like to inform you that as Colorful updating their website these days, their outsourcing web company temporary put the wrong information, and Colorful is replacing it soon," the company said in the statement. The updated "About" page has a brief history of the Shenzhen-based company that made a splash on the western press for its over the top graphics card designs that are truly innovative; and is working to expand its supply to more markets in the west. We wish the high degree of innovation Colorful shows in its products also carries over to its web-design.

Even funnier that in China, EVGA is called "American Colorful" for their sub par components as Colorful was reputed for such thing in the past, minus the EVGA's warranty.

The chinese copy everything and there's noone to stop them. Colorful could care less about that, they don't sell much in the westernt world anyway. They have another brand(s) for that.
Still, a nice example of shameless chinese copying - even a multi-million (maybe billion) company copies western competitor's webpage instead of hiring someone that can write one page of correct corporate PR stuff.

the word is COULDN'T care less, if you're going to be an asshole about web page text, you should pretend to look smart without writing the exact opposite of what you mean

i also didnt know every western company has perfect web pages with high quality marketing+writing agencies to do the work, wow! apple needs to worry now that every western product is at their caliber
