Hi W1z, your CPU comparison tables are sorted by price, like the example below. However, would it be possible to allow sorting by brand? For me, I want to see a list of all the AMD CPUs listed together to make it easier to scan the list and compare models, so a sort by brand would be very helpful, as it's a bit hard to scan when the brands are mixed together. You could perhaps extend this so that every column can be sorted.

Sorted by performance

Right, but can you make the columns individually sortable as I explained?

EDIT

I made this as a separate post several hours later.

I guess the answer's no then.

Anyone else care about this?

Not greatly.

If it's listed by some performance metric, the table is more suited to a tech site. It's easy enough to see brand (as you'll know) by either Core or Ryzen on the LHS. That in itself sorts by brand. It'd be different if there were multiple CPU brands but having two makes it fairly easy to use as an information table.

I know what you're asking for but I, as a single opinion, don't see the need.

Alas, I don't think anyone else does, either.

It's just that I was looking up and down that table, wanting to directly see the differences between the models of AMD CPUs, but it was a bit hard to do because they were all mixed up with Intel.

copy-paste it into excel or your spreadsheet application of choice (needed some cleanup in notepad++ for some reason)

Sure, there are ways round it, but it doesn't compare to simply being able to click the heading for an instant sort. Especially so when on the iPhone away from my PC.

Thing is, it's not hard to implement, so I don't know why W1z doesn't wanna do it.
