my system:
WINDOWS 7 32BIT (the crashes occurs in xp as well)
Connect3d HD4850
E7200
2GB
Gigabyte GA-EP43-DS3L

what seem to be the problem?

Since all of the errors are ATI related, I would completely uninstall and reinstall the video drivers.
Use the link in my sig for getting instructions.

i followed the instructions and installed CCC 9.5 but it didnt work.
any ideals?

can one of the moderators move this thread to Graphics Cards forum ?

help?
please.

Are they just random crashes? Or do they most commonly occur 5 minutes into playing a certain game?

whats your power supply?
do you overclock?

Snakeeater, if you go into the UserCP and fill in all your system specs (including any overclocking), people will be able to help you a lot better.

Done.
don't have overclock.
the crashes are dependent on the game i think.
Wanted Weapons of Fate - after 5-7 min.
Dead Space - after 3-10 min.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky - 5 min.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. SOC - about 7-8 hours.

thanks for reply.

it sounds like the graphics card is overheating it could be clogged with dust. clean the heatsink out then try running it again.

All of the errors are originating in the ATi/ACE folder. You need to uninstall the video drivers, run driver sweeper and make sure to follow all of the steps here:

http://forums.techpowerup.com/showthread.php?t=52502

Once that is done be sure to update Direct X here:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...38-DB71-4C1B-BC6A-9B6652CD92A3&displaylang=en

Tried that alredy .

the temp was at 56.0 when it crash according to GPU-Z Sensor Log.
i'll try to clean the dust from the heatsink .

no , try 9.4 it is WHQL is it should have no problems

reinstall your drivers, clean your case and if that doesnt work look at your power supply

400W is just enough to powerup ur system... but save some money and get a quality brand power supply - smthn like corsair or fotron.

keep in mind that the stickers on the cheap PSUs dont always say right - a friend got a 450W psu and he had similar problems like you - we took it to a friend and tested it - the psu took up only 120 W at load - just enough to power up your CPU

when your pc is idle it doesnt suck too much wattage but when you start playing games thats where it sucks at max

my tip is if anything else doesnt work - change ur PSU

Good Luck ;)

It really looks like something is missing between the graphics drivers and the OS. Especially seeing the "object reference not set to an instance of the object" errors. I usually see those for two reasons. I forget to create the appropriate object, or it's a timing issue where the code is trying to access an object before it has a chance to be created.

What .NET framework(s) do you have installed?
What version of the C++ 2005 Redistrabutable do you have installed?

i tried the guide again with 9.4 but unfortunately it keep crashing.
cleaning the card didn't work also.

i have win7 so it include .NET framework, right?
i have the version of C++ 2005 Redistrabutable which come with ati driver.

about the PSU .
how come i played games like : Mirrors Edge ,GTA IV ,DMC4,Gears Of War ,Mass Effect,TheWitcher without crashes ?
however it could be it,i have 350W PSU. he worth trying ?

If you go into the Programs section of the control panel it will show you what frameworks you have installed, and also which C++ Redist. I had to install the C++ Redist hotfix to get 9.4 working correctly (however, I was not having the same problem as you).

Seasonic is a great brand of PSU's There is no way his system pulls enough or that to be the problem, my entire system under 100% full load doesn't even break 360W.

Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable product version: 8.0.56336.
in Programs and features i dont see any version of framework .

where can i find the hotfix ?
and what version of .NET framework should i instal?

i checked now in turn "windows features on or off" and there is framework 3.5.1.
i turned it off so i could install framework but he dont let me ,he tells me go to windows features on or off .
i also turn off all filter in Dead Space and its didnt crash ,as i turn some of them (i think aa and post processing) it crash . is that indicating the video card is fault?
may be some of the filters don't supported by my card ?
please someone help me , i really want to play this game .
