OK, you vented over assuming I assumed you an AMD "white knight", and now it's my turn to set things straight. I didn't call you out for trolling out of assuming you to be an AMD fanboy. It's that you claimed I was trying to start a war with them rather than just pointing out strange software problems with AMD. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black here.He doesn't seem to want help just to vent.
You want civil conversation, then stop making up things about people you don't know. As far as your assumption I'm more interested in venting than hearing positive feedback, nothing that's been said, including by you, hasn't already been tried, so it's not like I'm ignoring anything. If anyone's not paying attention to the conversation, it's you, regarding what I've already stated.
Kinda hard to have a productive conversation when there's people slinging troll comments and assumptions from both sides.
Anyways, back on topic. Out of the blue today the AMD updater thing popped up and tells me what I already know, that 17.1.1 is partially installed, recommending installing 16.12.2. Since I'm finally playing Mafia III artifact free since installing just the display driver, even with stock fan speed and one fan, I think I'll just keep it this way until I finish the game at least.
