I’ve been told by various people that they do not have regional pricing.
They don't have regional. Russians have regional prices (not for Amazon) but they have for Steam for example. Powerful countries have advantages.

@lynx29 Amazon has always charged me VAT. Unless you are in a country where there is Amazon, for example, USA, Canada, UK etc everyone else gets charged VAT. And yes right now it's 59,99 EUR so no discount and with VAT it will end up at 71,4 EUR. Purchasing from Steam at 59.99 is the "cheapest" - like I said Cyberpunk at the moment the full price is the cheapest price.

@nguyen what do you mean by Steam decryption? You download the game on a different hard drive and then copy it on a different one? You mean 5950X has faster copy speeds?

Check out the Linus TT link that I posted, when you are download a game on Steam, it was compressed data and get decompressed at the client side, that's why download speed can actually surpass the your available internet bandwidth (similar to RTX IO). With his 5950X, all 32 threads are being utilized to decompressed Steam data, leading to an effective bandwidth of 680MB/s (4Gbps), insane stuff.

I'm glad you asked that. I'll probably carry on as normal and play it in the morning (depending on how time zones affect actual release time) because I have money making jobs to do.
However, my stepson has cancelled everything, probably including breakfast, lunch and dinner. In fact he recently got offered a new job and breathed a sigh of relief that it doesn't start until a few days after launch date.
It's a serious business, apparently.

With the pandemic, I've accrued so much vacation time that I'm forced to use up some by the end of the year. Might as well take a couple days off for gaming!

Y'all need to pray for me....don't jinx it!

I took 7 days off work 5 days vacancy + weekend, under of course a different pretext. I need to play as much as possible and make a YB video (which is gonna take me forever to edit)
Spoilers are everywhere and google feed news is giving reviews from different websites. Most of them by the title look not so good - in all my heart I simply don't see how this will ever be bad.

Cyberpunk 2077, simply can not and will not fail. It's not happening. Can never compare apple with oranges, and to this extend there is no such "apple" on the market. Something that in recent time may have come 10% close to this was Rage 2 or Far Cry New Dawn: good graphics, open world, shooter, npc with an engaging story that send you on "must do quests" - a skill tree and weapons to collect and upgrade. So this has been done before.
Go somewhere cuz an NPC said so, shoot some bad guys clear - clear the area - get more cutscene and npc dialog with possible choices that the player can select - repeat

But not like this. Not in this scenario, not with this level of voice acting and plot twists (which i'm sure will get) different skill tree, different story ramifications and weapons (gunplay).
This will be good, simply because we, the people who take gaming as a hobby have a thirst for quality content, for storytelling with decision making and action gameplay. Same reason why Mass Effect worked and worked wonderfully.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be good, because there is not enough content like this around, and we wait so long in order to get some.

----
In hindsight brace yourself for youtube videos from channels with a huge audience making 10 minutes video ONLY full of every single bug + glitch found with the title "Cyberpunk is broken" - worry not, because these people make videos similar for every major AAA game released.

What's a physical copy?

Though, seriously, haven't bought a CD for years. I recall they did ship on time for release day.

Over here they're shipping them out today and should arrive tomorrow if you've opted for DHL or any other courier service. Few shops also offer pickups from a parcel locker starting from midnight.

And yeah, physical copy is really a GOG code in the box unless you're a console user.

I can just see a few people changing their PC clocks :)
Edit
It unlocks at 2100 tonight for gamers in Argentina, but I'll probably leave it for the morning since I have to finish the Lorena Bobbitt story first on Prime :)

I'm glad i didn't pre-ordered it. I will pick it up after a dozen or two of patches. I'll continue to play the waiting game for now. Looking foward to @W1zzard analysis though.

High five! *clap*

Business as usual. Just wait it out, get DLC released, and then step into the full bugfree, well patched and driver'd finished game.

Agile development guys... nothing gets out as it should have been. Its software business reality and nobody is immune anymore.

Oh man, this is so epic. This needs to be a mandatory watch during every pre-load, pre-order and when you first boot it up.

I think these bench results are woefully inaccurate much like the Nvidia inspired system requirements.

If they are that inefficient for these graphics I am seriously just hard passing on it and CDPR has lost its mojo in favor of corporate misdirection.

I dont think theyre that stupid. But this news does serve Ampere very well. I just remember 'Hairworks OFF' and I think this will be similar for CBP.
