Heyy all!
Its Evangeline, and I gotta question for you!
Because of limited availability on CSX memory, I've decided to buy 4GB of OCZ DDR3 Memory.
Now I have it in my shopping cart at newegg and was about to buy it when i actually clicked memoryc in my favorites. I noticed that they're selling on newegg for $450, and on memoryc for ~$350. Both are OCZ platinum 2x2 GB DDR3 2000mhz. Both are rated at the same timings and i believe both use Samsung IC's.

So my question is, what's causing the $100 difference?
Is there something I am missing?

Your not missing anything their both exactly the same. the 100$ diff is hard to accept but things like this happen alot. i work at best buy and we sell some prepaid phones for $75 the same exact model is 2 blocks down the road at walmart for $30

Yep, they are the same ram sticks. I would go for the cheaper one, maybe they are having a clearance sale...

that very high latency ram though dont you think? CL9
Perhaps you should go for the cheaper lower latency ram... once DDR3 prices drop (and they will even more) youll be able to get lower latency, faster ram for much less... in the mean time go for some CL7 DDR3 1600 or something... itll cost less ;)
