Just curious what kind of temperatures people run idle and at 50% and 100% load on their setups, also I would like something to compare my new build to when I manage to push it past 44% load doing actual gaming/non benchmarking.

Setup: HAF X with optional 200mm fan and coolermaster v6gt all on stock cooling settings so far.
Idle at 35
44% load on cpu maxes 48-50 C

Sorry for the super long poll lol

Is this stock?

Seems normal for stock, I would imagine your chip would hit around 65 running IBT or Prime95 on all cores.

Yeah I'm running stock since I can't be bothered to shut down and change the BIOS settings right now but I will get around to it, I don't mind whether peoples settings are stock in the poll though I', just curious to see what kind of variety there is.

voted, my idle temps would have gone lower but set my CPU fan to spin lower during idle and only rev up during high load (PWM fan)

Someone getting 44-55 on max load :O i want to test mine now

were are the negative temps. i normally sit at -5C load.

I voted for my idle, but your 100% load options didn't go low enough.

I guess I didn't account for some of the more hardcore cooling options available :/

Have a Zalman CNPS10X Performa on a Phenom II 955 BE, usually stays at 31-32c idle and has gotten up to 48c from what I remember, might be a bit higher but it's at stock clocks.

I should add that I only really bother using it for gaming and not really into benchmarks.

Voted 41-50, 46-55 and 66-75. I'm using a CM TX3 with no fan.

CPU: Core i3-2100
Idle (desktop) 41C
50% load (3mark06 gamedemo) 54C
100% load (10 loops of Intel Burn Test maximum) 66C

Are we talking core temperatures?

CM Storm Enforcer w/ 2x 200mm fans

Phenom x6 1090T 4ghz being cooled with Corsair H70

Idle 26.4c
100% load 45.6c w/ Prime95

i have 23c at idle cpu,24c for mobo ,-when gaming, that goes up to about 45c,
havent run prime 95 yet.

My rig (E7400 @3.5 with HDT S1284 passive)

33C on idle and 58C on load OCCT linpack

Voted a close As i could, load temps did go low enough im using air. Xiggy S-1283
CPU: Intel Q6600 @3GHz OC
Idle: 28c
50%: 37c
100%: 42c

lol  my i7 920 went upto 85 whilst running a password cracker (nothing ilegal was trying to crack a vid from 4chan damned cashfile scammers ) but ye that software (can't remember it's name took my processor and my graphics card upto 85 O/c, as it used both processors to crack (even on the free version)

but that was using the stock cooler of which i cough need help picking a new one ;)

i run 955 @ stock
my max temp is about 63
idle about 40 celcius

Idle: 22c (CnQ yeah!)
Full load: 42c

Idle: depending on external temperatures: CPU: 22-35 ºC (Thanks Cool'n'quiet), motherboard: 28-32 ºC
50% Load: CPU: 41 ºC approx, motherboard: 33 ºC.
100% Load: CPU: 45 ºC approx, motherboard: 36 ºC.

Video card (it uses active cooling):
Idle: 48 ºC
Load: 60 ºC

Hard disk: 27 ºC depending on external temperature.

The ambient temperature right now is 25 ºC and the temperatures are in the low side.

Load temps never go above 65c, even with 27c ambient temperature in the summer.

It depends on room temperature, many people underestimate this.

I like to stay below 65 on load.

Idle temps are somewhat meaningless ( but I voted anyway) because the bios slows down the fan, meaning it's nearly always 40C

sandy bridge i3 2010 with minimal oc with old cnps 9500 (the same that used to cool my p4 3.2)...
All system fans set to minimal speed:

how can i say? everything depends on the ambient room temp.

USB 3 are the hottest spots! Burning speeds! ;)
