ok so, heres my update all, the rocky creek p[ost office has 10 packages some for people that may not have contacted them they ARE holding them, call that number above they will send the package back to you. NOW his local pd really are a bunch of loosers, to the one that he got stuff from, danishdevil, they stated they will give him till the end of today to return it to sender aka you, BUT due to my personal involvement and intrest in this case, they will no longer allow me to be a par of it, they refused my app to transfer, I highly suggest danishdevil contact them, did you use insurance? maybe put in a claim, im so pissed and flustered about this its not funny.
 
Could you PM me the name of the investigator in charge of the case, and the best way to contact him?
 
DD/OC101 If they need any info from the rest of us even though we are (hopefully) getting our stuff back PM me, I am willing to give them any info they need.
 
I talked to just a random officer myself, my chief will give me no info on the case anymore because im personally involved. the officer said just call down and explain what happened, he wasnt even supposed to tell me that. sorry, I really wish I could have done more, I guess I shouldnt have told them i was personally involved
 
I'll have to call tomorrow, then. Absolutely don't have time today. By the time I'm out of my exam, they will be closed.
 
When the USPS holds the packages, do they put them in a PO box at the post office?
 
I sent in an E-message on the Macon, GA PD site. Hopefully that will be enough to get the ball rolling.

Midnite8, I'd imagine they probably just keep them in an office in the back.
 
they are in the office why?? cuz your tracking says at po box?? well thats cuz they arent going out.

If something really strange happens and he sends me your drive to complete our trade I will send it back to you (If you don't get the hardware he traded you for.) :roll:
 
Just spoke to his cousin over his AIM account. Casey was at the courthouse all this morning due to another theft, and he is currently at the post office asking them to not deliver any packages to him. His cousin is staying at his place to deny any packages that do make it there.

Mine was sent to a different address. I told him to let Casey know that he needs to send my package and any other packages (he said he got one from theonedub as well) back to their senders.
 
They are indeed holding packages at the Rocky Creek USPS. I called and asked if they had it and could send it back. She asked for my name and confirmed they had it. The packages will remain there pending investigation. They will be returned to sender once the investigation is done.

This has actually been a somewhat fun experience though I hope I never have to go through it again.


Adcom32 wants me to tell the forum that he had nothing to do with this.

Maban, if it ended any differently this would have been very unentertaining thats for sure. Its good it looks like we will all get our stuff back.
 
There's just way to much babbling going on in this thread so what we are going to do now is close it down. The way it's going to be handled is if you have an pertinent information about a scammer, thief, etc., contact one or all of the moderators who handle the B/S/T forum. That would be myself, Mussels or Paulieg. One of us will then post the useful information here. This way, no harmful, wrong or misleading information will be posted.

Thanks for your cooperation.

So again... PM a moderator from the B/S/T section with any new information leading to getting your items back, or if a new situation arises. We will then post that information here.

Last I heard Danish devils is gooing to be "resent" his stuff do I believe that idk. but if I were him I would keep pressing on, ill do my best to get info from my chief but as I stated they wont give me much because im pesonally affected by the case. Also anyone with money orders keep the stub and contact his local PD ASAP.

^ Midnites stuff has turned around, it looks like the post office is holding all packages for that address as 'undeliverable' and returning them.

It has been confirmed: If you do not file a callback, your packages will end up being delivered to charper in about a week.

As it states in the rules, the moderators, administrators and staff are not responsible for bad dealings. It is up to you. If many of you would of taken the Safe buying/selling guide into consideration before you made these "backdoor" (not through the B/S/T forum) deals, these problems are very less likely to happen.

Your failure to do an appropriate transaction makes far too much work for the moderators here. It is not our responsibility at all, though we do help you as we can.

It really only took about 15 minutes, and the more people call in, the more his PD will realize that this is a truly large problem. Even if you got your package recalled, I think they would appreciate hearing from you. You still should be reimbursed for your cost to ship the items to him, IMO.

The detective needs everybody who has had contact with Casey Harper about a trade (whether he got your stuff or not) to contact her via either fax or email and include communication logs in order to build a stronger case against him. Please send me a PM giving me the low down of what happened between you and Casey, and I will get you her contact information.

I'm still out over $500 worth of hardware, so your cooperation in this would be greatly appreciated. You might be able to get reimbursed for your shipping costs as well.
