We have a scammer on TPU. Solid_snake a.k.a. thavey018 has been selling things and not shipping them. There isn't much we an do about this, but I would suggest anyone who got ripped off by this person to contact the FBI internet crime complaint center here: http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx

I would also suggest that some of you read the "Safe buying/selling" guide that is stickied to the top of the Buy/Sell/Trade forum so this kind of thing doesn't happen to you again.

I've had inboxes from some of the people involved saying they received shipping information that was blank, but he did at least try and sell the same item twice (and received money for it twice)

edit: as an update to this, he broke forum rules by using one image to list two items. the buyers did receive their CPU's, just that one obviously did not match the image.

LifeOnMars has been reported for not shipping an item that has been paid for.

He's a well known member of the forums, but since he hasnt logged in for a few weeks and communcation over facebook from the buyer has come to nothing, i feel it fair to put up a warning until he logs back in and sorts things out.
