Not to mention that but in order to get the precise information about flash you need specific proprietary Hex commands to get the Flash ID, and for most manufacturers like SK Hynix / WD-SanDisk / Samsung we dont have these commands only for brands like Phison / SMI / Marvell / Maxiotech so there is no use for SSD-Z at the moment
And to even get to that point, you first have to ID the controller, which is trial and error, guessing by the firmware number or peeling back the warranty sticker in many cases.
 
TPU has an SSD database now instead, which may lead to an SSD-Z style project in the future as a database for a program to pull from.

Yes, i'm talking to VLO a lot and i did learn how he makes those awesome tools, and with a few insights we managed to make some improvements, in the future we might be able to make a few other tools to help out the comunity
