Does TPU use Google-Tracking?

would it be feasible to have a semi-hidden domain like tls.techpowerup.com or something that does not/cannot downgrade tls? like, im pretty sure there's nothing to be gained from doing a tls downgrade attack against tpu, but ...
Why? You mean just TLS 1.3? That will lock out a significant portion of the internet for no reason? or 1.3 and 1.2 ? or 1.3 and 1.2 and 1.1? 1.0? SSL3? SSL2. There's also like 50 cipher suites to take into account, too

yes, it'd just be a secondary domain that would do the same as good ol' www.techpowerup.com, but w/o support for obsolete tls/ssl versions (mind you, i am not suggesting the removal of that, nor its legacy support - merely an additional, alternative domain that does not allow tls downgrading (as ive said, tls downgrade opens one up to a tls downgrade mitm attack - again, this is probably theoretical only; i very much doubt it'd ever happen but yeah)

@Frick
My everyday internet experience is free of ads and peaceful.
I dont pay for any streaming service neither do i use reddit or airbnb.
As for search engine i recommend searxng, https://searx.space/
My phone is degoogled, besides i use it maybe once a month.

I knew the equivalent to guys like you in the 90's, they were the very weird people living out deep in the woods, some without electricity. Nothing wrong with that, but for most people it is ... impractical. I mean yeah Google and the world sucks and I wish I too could not use my phone for weeks, but that isn't what life is like.

your right about Add's tho, ive found a way to beat them i never buy anything i see in a add unless i have great need of it. that's the way my Aspie brain thinks of it, it sorta makes me think i winning :).
Haha, me too. In-fact, if a company makes commercials that annoy me, I'll vow to never buy their products. In reality, I probably forget and buy them eventually anyway.

And it has been implemented for some time alright. Beginning of March seems so long ago. :) Thanks.

TPU is one of the cleanest sites I use, I have seen much much worse, browsing the forum I dont see any requests to 3rd parties at all, unless for things like image or video links.

I see W1zzard did something not long ago, so probably affected my quick checking on umatrix and ublock origin. :) But regardless one of the cleanest sites on the web that I use, and because of it, is very fast as well.

and because of it, is very fast as well.
That's my #1 goal. #2 is to provide a "not annoying" experience. #3 is to provide a clean design that's usable for you guys.

If you appreciate, turn off your ad blocker (and if you have complaints about ads, please lmk)

I dont see any requests to 3rd parties at all, unless for things like image or video links.
Many images are proxied through our servers, just YT embeds grab the thumb from YT and load the player only on click

And it has been implemented for some time alright
I turned off Google Analytics for main site and forums yesterday, added our in-house stats yday on the forums. On the main site they have been running for a few weeks, so issues could be found and fixed

Or just use DPN

Beforeyou quit google you must find alternatives first, obviously. There's plenty FLOSS alternatives out there.
google search - searxng
google chrome - librewolf/mullvad/mull/cromite
google maps - https://duckduckgo.com/Map?ia=web&iaxm=maps or openstreetmap
google play - fdroid
google android - AOSP/lineage/graphene
google drive - local backup
gmail - tutanota or protonmail
youtube - invidious
the list goes on ...
feels like brainrot to me that people still use native youtube.com from google without an adblock and then complain about the ads.
