Yes, Win 7 to 11. Currently I am testing a library change, but the change should still be fine on Win 7, I have not made the change public yet.

I am not 100% sure what you mean, which pictures? There is an archive a friend is holding onto with older versions I might be able to dig up, but I need info on the pictures you mention.

To add the features in the screenshot, see the 'TOOLS' folder in this package for extra steps to unlock them, via the Realtek device policy editor (RTK Panel.txt).

Open the 'Realtek Device Tool', at the bottom select the policy tab, press get driver policy, add the tick boxes from the .txt file, save, exit.
After registering the dll file you will need to restart your PC. Note the features wont show on all devices.

Hey Feather I Did Something Amazing!
For PC Speakers,
I First Downloaded The Driver From Shabjee Which I Think Is Ador Right?
Then I Downloaded The DTS Sound Unbound From Your Package And It Worked!
For HDMI,
I Downloaded AAF Optimus DCH HDAudio And Used It On Intel Display Audio (It's Works)
Then Chose SB Connect 2, Dolby Atmos Speaker System, Sonic Studio 3, Dolby Digital(Format) And Unselected DTS Overall
And That Worked Too!
For BT Headphones,
I Found How To Get Dolby Access For Free (Kudos To @purplenoice)
And Used Sonic Studio 3 Link With It!

So In Total I Got:
Dolby: Speaker System, Access, Dolby Digital(Format)
DTS: DTS HeadphonesX v2 (Sound Unbound), X Ultra, HeadphonesX v1, DTS Digital Entertainment
Creative: SB Connect 2
Nahimic: Sonic Studio 3
Spatial Sound: Dolby Atmos For Headphones, DTS X Ultra, DTS HeadphonesX

So Yeah Thanks For Helping Me! With The Packages.

Greetings.
I'm trying to get 5.1 audio out of my SPDIF jack (I'm only getting 2.0), and any other enhancements are a bonus. My motherboard is a Gigabyte Aorus Master with a Realtek ALC1220-VB Codec. Unless I'm mistaken, it looks like the solution in this thread should be able to help.

I followed the instructions in the first post as best as I understood them. The install process seemed to be successful. I show a "Realtek Digital Output - DTS DCH Audio Device" as my default device. The properties page says the "device is working properly" (for whatever that's worth), but it doesn't play audio and fails every attempt to play a test tone no matter what format or sample rate I try. Any ideas where I'm going wrong?

Thanks, that helped a little, though I'm still not quite there.

Using the oldest driver still available I managed to get all the encoded formats to play. When I run the "Encoded formats" test in my properties for all seven formats, I get individualized sound across the 5.1 speakers just like I'd hope to see.

However, I still can't pull up the "Configure speakers" option for SPDIF and I'm not getting 5.1 anywhere except during the test. I think if I could somehow tweak the driver to let me access the configure speakers option I'd be home free, but I don't have any idea how to do that.

@Gyre, SPDIF does not have a configure option, in fact the support for SPDIF past legacy is limited. In legacy mode, it will only output 2 channel PCM, but that's due to the transmitters, not SPDIF its self.
Current consumer standard SPDIF and TOSLink transmitters are up to 15 channels PCM direct (digital), over 1 TOSLink connection, but they are yet to be implemented by OEMS at all.

----

Play one of these tracks as you are now on SPDIF, if you hear the center and rear channels all is working, but you need a stereo upmixer to convert 2 channel audio into 5.1.

----

The initial reason SPDIF is as seen now, is because of the original 3.1 mbps limit on transmitters and receivers, which limits the output to 2 channel PCM or 5.1 compressed.
TOSLink transmitters-receivers where upgraded a very long time ago to 125mbps, which is beyond the limit of HDA which its attached to (~37 mbps).

Current consumer standard SPDIF its self also goes over the HDA limit, with 192kz x 15 @ 24b = 69.12 mbps.

====

It is possible to convert SPDIF to HDMI with Windows for test purposes, at this point it does have speaker configure, but reads only 2 channels, as if 2 channel soundbar was plugged in.
It does convert the tick boxes into essentially a HDMI EDID readback, which is actually very interesting, regardless SPDIF can be updated in Windows.

SPDIF.pngConverted.pngConfigure.png

Even if an OEM did put together a 15 channel SPDIF-TOSlink system, Windows its self needs to be updated, especially with encoded formats.
HDA also needs to be updated or changed if we are ever to get more than 8 channels PCM direct.

Note, those images are my old ALC 889, from 2008.

Note: You can download/update the DTS:X Ultra app from the Windows store, if you have your own Sound Unbound license (Windows account) the same.
If you do not own a Sound Unbound license, you will need to use the provided Sound Unbound, and disable Windows store auto-update.

Enjoy!

DTS:X For Home Theater is currently HDMI only, if you have a newer version of Sound Unbound installed, it will show. Unfortunely those apps cannot be cracked, easily or at all.
It basically encodes 11.1 PCM to played over an HDMI system that shows only 8 channels PCM (you cant set 11.1 in Windows), maybe some enhancing.

SPDIF - DTSX HT.png

Me almost succeeding to unlock it on SPDIF.

----

DTS APO.png

DTS APO4 (PCM), SFX-MFX-EFX channel input-output data.

====

@Wakko000, you add the APO keys you see on analogue (speakers) to HDMI, and hope the app supports the form factor or doesn't care about form factor.
Its the same way my 'DTS Settings' adds DTS:X APO4 to HDMI and other non-Realtek devices, it adds-overrides the keys.

Note the APO and its files need to be installed and active before you can add the keys.

Form factor: Speakers, Headphones, SPDIF, HDMI.

Yes, since HDMI (not onboard Realtek) is a separate device. It will not be configured when you install Realtek drivers and Realtek bundled APO's (DTS-Dolby, other).

Here is an example, this is my package, and the SFX-MFX-EFX (PCM) configuration, the encoder is DTS Surround, 6 channel.

How to unlock DTS APO4 on Virtual-USB devices, here.

Digital domain, and DAC location (not inside the PC, that is then analogue, power based output):

Hi DeathThrills,

Can you put the link where you download the AAF Optimus DCH HDAudio for use in HDMI?
Thanks in advance
Dude Just Download It From His Thread Or Github
Direct Link: AAFOptimusDCHAudioPack.exe
If For Some Reason It Isn't Working Try Installing It Via Device Manager
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Btw @Ferather Could U Make A Mod For Intel(R) Display Audio? (Via HDMI) I Would Appreciate That,
Like Maybe You Could Make DTS:X Ultra Or DTS Interactive Plus Extras?
(If U Need The .Inf Just Download It From Here)

The 'DTS Settings' (guide here) can already be used to add DTS:X Ultra (APO4) and DTS Interactive. There is a separate .reg file 'Multichannel [Interactive].reg'.
As long as APO4 and Interactive are installed and (from this package). It adds the APO keys and sets up the device.

I did also make an independent installer, but I don't maintain it any more. I might update it soon.
