What the heck!!!This is what I did, Refused to post...
Stock: 200mhz fsb
800mhz ram
1.9v cpu core
2.0v ram
OC: 220mhz
880mhz
2.0v cpu
2.2v ram
:(:mad::confused:

2.0v for the CPU? that's toasty :shadedshu

O sorry on that, It DID post but black screened when It reached the boot selection screen

You set your CPU voltage to 2.0v !?!?!?!? You SHOULD NOT go over 1.5v , not even a.145v you shouldnt go over.. I have never seen anything go higher than 1.7v and thats under LN2

Reset your setting back to default before you destroy your computer

it was idling at 1.9 when I left it on auto

holy sh1t, anything above 1.5 will fry it, anything above 1.9 will disintegrate it. You might have already fried it. Make sure it doesnt blow up or catch on fire.

1.9? are you sure it wasnt actually 1.19 or 1.09?

K rechecking on cpu-z

OMFG, need physical memory dump....well at least my proccey still works...

sounds right. No mobo I've ever had let me go that high.

yeah.. lol and if his board did go that high it would be dead already.

what all motherboards can set 2.0v anyways? it was probably 1.29v or something, my VID is like... 1.2375v hehe i make that mistake all the time btw.

e2140, pretty ok overclocker, hitting 100% overclock with 1.4250v

When I say physical I mean Physically on myself.

My E2180 @ 2500mhz
Core Voltage 1.296
So your E2220 cant idle at 1.9

dude at 2500mhz you can probably lower the voltage by a whole lot.

K I must have gotten the voltages messed up when I was typing this...
stock: 1.19
OCed: 1.2

My MB isn't good for OC, it doesn't have cpu voltage setting in bios, so i can do that for now. Maybe waiting for Core i5

Ok that makes sense. now we can work out a nice OC.

Do you have an OC target? You should keep in mind that the stock cooling wont get you far.

@sapetto thanx for the info
@Trip no target...anything that will make my proccy go past 2.6ghz

specs
multi 12x
2.4ghz

Got mine to run stable @3.4ghz 1.55v 24/7 heat wasn;t really an issue. lapped cpu and crappy air cooler

CPU: 3.2ghz 1.4250v
FSB: 400mhz
RAM: 800mhz 1:1 ratio 5-5-5-18 2T

CPU
26.54GIPS 19.33GFLOPS
8.29MIPS/MHZ 6.03MFLOPS/mhz

RAM
88ns
int: 7.06gb/sec float:7.02gb/sec

silk what cooler you have? and what ram?

anyway, my multiplier is stuck at 12 and fsb is on 200...whenever I pull the fsb up, the mem clock also goes up, can you unlink them and how?

You cant drop the multi on the ram? Loosen the timings up.
I bet they cant handle that overclock from 800 to 880, try the 667 divider or something like that.
