Think of it as a mobile mac pro:

one 12 core server CPU: both
two workstation cards: both (there is room for another in the eurocom)
limited upgradeability: both
limited connections: both
battery bacup: eurocom

and with all that, the price wold probably favor the eurocom

Also, anybody that thinks 6 kg is a heavy laptop, get to the gym, used a 5 kg one for 2 years in what equates to high school for you Americans.

Amazing what they fit into it, and it doesn't even seem that big. So what on 1 hour battery life, normally servers aren't even close to portable, this one you can move around to another room or another building and plug it right in.

this is exactly what a lot of large businesses would love as a portable backup, or a starting point for a new site.

I tend to see things like this used more as a "Mobile Workstation", these laptops have immense 3D capability. That allows an employee to take there workstation (work) home, or upstairs to the conference, or to the help desk for me to fix .

if someone is looking for a server class laptop, here it is.
if AMD released a "mobile opteron" then we could see 16 cores laptops as alternative to this.
Or maybe a 8 (or 12 or 16 core) apu, so you could own a terrific power-laptop with some nice iGPU, on the cheap.
