Everspace Kickstarter

Saw this, was instantly reminded of Freelancer.

It's an arcade space sim. No Newtonian travel or anything, just old-school space simulation similar to that of Freespace and Freelancer. Gameplay looks pretty sweet, and it drops October 2016.

try out their previous game if you havent.
galaxy on fire 2hd is descent but it doesnt worth 15 20 euro ?!?! they are asking for on steam. better look for sale (5 is ok, 10 with dlcs dlcs not available for pc ).
it is almost full copy/paste from freelancer but w/o newton physics
it has factions&faction relations, traiding, nasty aliens (there are friendly too), side quest for coin farming. story is medicore but who cares for the story when there is red ship under the aim.
mouse&keyboard controls are easy and well implemented

Saw this a little earlier as well, meant to ask you about it, 'Coon. Looks ok, a lighterweight version of Elite and SC. If it's really a spiritual to Freelancer, I'll pay a little more attention, but I'm just gonna watch from the sidelines a bit

It looks really good and fun. Always love space-sim but I didn't have the time and patience to play something like Star Citizen or Elite.

Looks fun! Just what I need is another Space Combat Sim! I did enjoy their last title, especially on my phone. This looks really good in the vein of Freespace 2.

Which btw...if ya'all haven't tried Freespace 2 with Freespace Open 2014, you're missing out imo!!! $5 on Gog (and Steam too I think)...EPIC!

Any word on when the beta starts? I hate to wait an entire year for it.

Not currently on either, but as a fan of Freelancer and similar games, I've got a price watch on it now.
