2.10.09 feels so far a way i cant wait. Finished the first F.E.A.R. and while ago and can't wait for this one. I am really hyped to play it, hopefully it doesn't get low scores.

I'm with you. I got F.E.A.R. when it first came out and have replayed it (and the expansions) several times over. I can't believe I'm so excited about something that won't be out for months!
 
Yeah....(warning if you havent played this dont do what I did) I first got the game and I played it on my Sony Vaio, it had a pentium 4 processor with HT adn 512 ram which I later fixed to 1 gb, I played that game On christmas day thats when I got it, played it even in the middle of the night I stopped every....5 or so hours....then when it was time to sleep I would get nightmares, shit got intense, so the next day I woke up and I started seeing shit crawling on the walls and shit(like the guys that hug the walls and then jump off then disappear) so I got scared shit less and I didnt beat the game till like maybe a month or so later after that...my advice....dont play too much F.E.A.R. it WILL fuck you up


cant wait for F.E.A.R. 2!!!!!

Low scores shouldn't affect your decision in buying it. Those reviews are base on other people's thoughts, feelings about their game. I never pay any attention to the scores or ratings on games, i just read the review for what to expect in the game, as for features, etc. But i think its wise to play the game yourself instead of listening to other's people opinion.

There is a game for xbox one, title: Triggerman and it got i think 1.0 in scores. I think the game is one of the best budget games around, my score 9.0 :rockout:

But anyways, i hope fear 2 demo is release.

Haha I know a bunch of people that played it and got scared. I played it during the day and had no problems. But the game is awsome and creepy and F.E.A.R. 2 cannot come fast enough.

There had better be a demo. I dunno if I can wait 2 more months. I've been waiting so long already!

The first time i played it i got pretty scared, i am replaying it again and not as scared as before since i now know whats coming up.

The atmoshpere is still scary tho. I cant wait to see what happens in the school in F.E.A.R. 2, i always wanted to be scared in a school in a game. This game should own.
 
i'm sure there are plenty of other games that'll keep all those who are absolutely desperate to play FEAR 2 busy.

I am replaying the first F.E.A.R.:rockout:

And playing lots of TF2:)
 
I might reinstall F.E.A.R. tbh, I really enjoyed it.
 
The trailer (and others, incl. discussion with the developers) looks fantastic. But what I fear is another corridor FEAR. While the graphics were great, and the "fear/scare" factor was truly done very very well, I hated always being boxed into the mapspace of connected corridors, zero alternative routes. I also dislikes the scripted "doom-like" monster will jump out at you as soon as you pass the next door. It is predictable, and in a sense, like playing space invaders only in 3D and different colours.

Going from FEAR to STALKER was a breath of fresh air. Go anywhere, do whatever in whatever order.

I hope FEAR 2 solves the corridor-mapping. If not, I hope the FEAR 2 engine and AI is available to other developers to produce something good from it.

PS. While it was truly brilliant to the genre, personally I didnt like it too much. Excellent execution. Deserves merit. But not my thing.
 
I'm getting the same feeling about this game as I did with FarCry2.. Anyone else smell a console port?
 
meh, not like it matters, either way its gonna be a good game, probably the last pc game I'll buy, that and starcraft II if that ever comes out.
 
from what i've seen and read about FEAR 2 should have open spaces, nothing like FC2, but reasonably wide areas.

That trailer looks exactly the same as fear1 and the perseus update to me.

You could say that about a lot of games, but to me F.E.A.R. 2 looks really fun and not repetitive. How does the trailer look like F.E.A.R. 1?

Yes, some of F.E.A.R. 2 takes place outside.

I am not saying its completely different:rolleyes:. But there will be more areas to explore, new ways to get scared:) and better graphics and animation to really bring that atmosphere together. I really don't see how its more of the same.

This game will own.
 
I did play/like fear1 and perseus mandate,and i will take a look at this when it comes out.
