FEAR Gold won't install

Im trying to install FEAR Gold, and I keep getting this message. Ive cleaned the disc, rebooted, no dice. Any ideas? Even threw in a screenie of the problem:

yup. 1 disk. Something else odd im noting; I have to start the install by going to setup from explore; the menu screen that comes up with the autorun doesn't do anything after clicking the game I want.

Try to install it in safe mode..
restart the pc..
hit F8 while it's rebooting, til the safe mode screen comes up..
enter safe mode..
install.

Might work..
Has saved me a couple times anyway..

In windows Vista try running it as administrator AND in compatibility mode with win XP SP2 when you install it

Running the setup.exe in SP2 mode did the trick. Score another one for the combined minds of TPU! :toast:
