[FEATURE REQUEST] GPU best guess

There are literally hundreds of fake GPUs sold on Ebay, AliExpress and other places where nefarious sellers reflash GPU identification strings in BIOS, so that the GPU is detected as something else in Windows.

The end result is that such a GPU won't run any games because GPU drivers will send the wrong commands to it.

Could @W1zzard please add a feature of best guessing a GPU based on its characteristics (ROPs/shaders/RAM/core frequencies/etc.)? This will allow people to flash the correct ROM and enjoy their GPU without returning it (which in some cases is either prohibitively expensive or just impossible).

Thank you!

I don't think that would be a good idea, because it puts ambiguity in the results and hence lowers the reliability and trust of the product.
IMO it's the responsibility of the user to ensure they have a valid product, not have a utility try to second guess a fake one.
