Flash update from bogus site

Maybe its just me, but i tryied to go to the topic about the new world record with the amd cpu when this came up

I can see its not a legit site from the URL - its not adobes own. Has it happened to anyone else?

Doesn't happen to me (yet). Such popup-downloads, I always get the program seperately form a trusted site.

Could be a big fake, when reading a local news paper here today, there was an article on a new virus or back door that has been floating around for about a week and attacks Win XP users and Win Server 2k3 users with IE. From what I do know, MS usually release's any updates on the 2nd Tuesday or Wednesday of every month so if it has anything to do with that, would guess the fix will be out within a week.

Cant seem to find a single thing about it on the interwebz. Only thing i could find, is that there is some flash update file thats flowing around, that has malware. But nothing about the popup or anything.

Edit: Just debugged the installed - It looks like its sending computer info to a site "http://www.***update.com/smc/webex/"
Edit2: And it downloads a trojan and\or rootkit - So dont download the update, folks!
