Hello i recently bought what seems to be and xfx rx 580 gts xxx edition 8gb. this is the one->
http://xfxforce.com/en-us/products/amd-radeon-rx-500-series/rx-580-gts-8gb-dd-rx-580p8dfd6

This is a pic of the backplate and some stuff i might thought to be relevant.

when i installed the card at first msi afterburner looked like this

Memory was OC', voltage said 0 but was like 50 mv to the right(which kinda got me to actually realizing this is od).
I cleaned the card and the heatsink, applied noctua thermal paste and the thermals improved by aprox 7 degrees.
After a bit i realized performance was not even close that what i saw around youtube even though my pc is kinda shitty:
DH67bl Intel motherboard
i5-2500k stock
2x 4gb g.skill ddr3 ripjaws
evga 750w G+ Gold rating
1x ssd and 1x hdd

Heres an actual picture of gpu size because im am that bad.

then i decided to flash to this bios https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/200596/xfx-rx580-8192-171030 , with windows and ati flash. said it worked, it didnt. switch bios, switch to igp , managed to restore shitty mining bios.
did find a few guys on reddit with the card messaged them asking for the bios.

@eidairaman1 FreedonEclipse from discord recommended you.

Power down your system and then flip the bios switch to other position. Power up system and post screen shots of gpu-z. It maybe a simple as flipping the switch on a dual bios card
If you already did this sorry to echo it again

I have tried that, currently on bios flipped towards front of the pc. Flipping the switch towards the back works but is even works as it pulls 1.35 mv max compared to 1.25 of the other one, this is the bios i tried flashing, failed and recovered. I will get a gpu pic of it as well and add it here.
this is the gpu z of the one in forwards position and the initial post the one towards the back. I also saw some artifacting while windows was loading.

pm @eidairaman1 as he can find him a few comparable bios that will match your max gpu clock but not max vram clock.
or maybe @XFXSupport can Drop in with some help

already talked to eidaraman1 he told me to contact @XFXSupport , dunno i can already tell xfxsupport is gonna tell me to go to their website where i cannot select any models when filling a ticket.

GPU-Z has a built-in button for taking screenshots... please use it. We don't need to see the pixels of your monitor.

Hello, Yes, we are going to tell you to select a (SERIAL #), which you have to register to your account before creating a ticket. Its imperative we know exactly which Video card, PCB, and memory you have before even considering offering you a bios file. As tedious as a 1 minute registration sounds, it saves dozens of video card lives everyday.

We have North America/English tech support at 800 880 3225 as well.

That being said, there are no bios updates for this model, so you would only be offered support on how to restore the original bios files.

Reminder: Unnecessary Bios modification permanently voids the manufacturer warranty.

It is always best to register products. I have had extremely great dealings with XFX recently and in the past and @XFXSupport here has been very helpful to our community here. So go register your product and lets get this ball rolling
