I bought these first because I felt they would be the least to depreciate performance wise.
I got a wild hair up my ass the other night an pulled the trigger on the video card.
PowerColor AX6870 2GBD5-6DG Radeon HD 6870 2GB 256...
I bought this particular car because I have turned into a multi-monitor, multi-task junky.
I am running a quad monitor set up right now using a 5750 and a usb video extender for the 4th monitor.
Anyway, now that I pulled the trigger in the video card it feels like I started the "clock" on the depreciation part of my computer, if that makes any sense to you guys.
I was waiting for the bulldozer results to come in and they don't look great. The new promise from AMD is fixes to fully show what it can do in Windows 7 since Windows 7 was not designed to use bulldozers architecture to it's fullest. Whatever.
My point is I am looking to spend any $600 on a Motherboard and CPU and Memory.
I am leaning towards the i7 2600 and ASUS P8P67 DELUXE ASUS P8P67 DELUXE (REV 3.0) LGA 1155 Intel P67 SAT...
I am not a gamer per say, I only play Lost Planet 2. I mostly do a lot of video encoding, burning, HD video and web browsing all at the same time.
Any advice?
