Forum Live View feature

I've still only seen it used once.. lol.. But, the idea is pretty good. I'm still not on the Yes/No of this.

Dr.Pepper point was good.. Allow us to use it if we want to via our CP..

i noticed this too. I like the live feature a lot. Opened up 2 windows. 1 with viewing thread and one with forum homepage. helps a lot, no refreshing.

I wouldnt mind it optional on the odd occassion I might leave a thread open but I dont like it on all the time.

Maybe there could be an option like being able to subscribe, to make it live.

I would imagine there would be less load on the servers that way too.

Okay maybe it is still going, at least the live edit bit anyway. But I have also noticed another bug, the system specs drop down doesnt work on edited and/or live posts.

I'd really like the option of turning this off please w1zz.

Make a new post and try opening the specs, it doesn't work anyway.

Can we have the posts on the main page of the forum updated like this? That way it would stream the latest forum posts to the top of the sample list. I think that would be cool to sit and watch the forum threads be bumped in real time.

I have just noticed (this may just be IE8)

That messages which appear after the page has finished loading are in a much thinner font.

That includes all the stuff written under a users avatar.
