Frametime spikes and stuttering after switching to AMD CPU?

Last edited:
i found the solution why Elden Ring is stuttering, its really weird i have to uncheck and check Core 0 in the task manager core affinity i cant play online then though which is kinda sad, i wanted to try if it helps in genshin impact aswell but i cant set the affinity because of the anticheat, and there is no way to play genshin offline.

Does anyone know why that stops the stuttering in elden ring?

All those problems are due to the not modern game engines using the 1st core only for the main job and the way the new CPUs try to divide the load and transfer it to other cores to not overload and overheat a single core. Many older games gehave similarly. Process lasso might solve that for you.

The game engine is old. And process lasso allows to preset what cores/threads you want any app to use.

i tried process lasso, but its the same as the task manager "access denied" i can only change the affinity if i turn off Easyanticheat or am i doing something wrong in process lasso?

Process lasso has the ability to make profiles per application/game that works automatically when it starts.

* Disable fTPM in uefi
* Uninstall Gigabyte App Center (remove adjustservice.exe service)

* Disable fTPM in uefi
Some Games require TPM enabled, I don't have issues with TPM enabled in the BIOS (FaceIT CS2)

TPM bug was resolved long time ago.
