Fully modular psu

Do you guys know of any FULL modular "inexpensive" power supplies?
I'm thinking along the lines of the ZT series from OCZ : bronze + full modular. :toast:

Unless you plan to mod all the cables, what is the point of fully modular? Are you not going to use the 24-pin connector, 8-pin CPU, and 1-2 PCI-E connectors?

I'd go with a Corsair HX750/850 over a ZT series. 80+ Gold + Mostly Modular FTW!

I was going to get a gold rated psu but lately I'm not so sure the ~7% difference is worth my money. I want full modular because I'm crazy like that, so I can't really argue your point BUT what I can do is point out that HX is silver rating

It is advertised as Silver, yes. To prevent it from encroaching on the AX sales, but the HX750/850 are actually 80+ Gold Certified.

I can't argue with "It is just what I want", I fall victim to that all the time.

Define inexpensive. What is your price range? Are you in the US or elsewhere?

My vote is on the HX750w corsair psu myself.

Price range is ~130$/100euro. Really wish I was in the US when it comes to buying electronics.

Hi,

How about the Seasonic X-series, e.g. the X-650 which is a full modular PSU? There's a review for the mentioned Seasonic PSU.

Or the Corsair AX series, such as the AX-650 which is also a full modular PSU. Here's is review for the 750 Watts model.

Both PSUs make use of Seasonic design and can be bought for under 140 Euros for the 750W models, I think. I guess shop around, and you may find it way even cheaper prices online, especially for the 650W models.

-Silverstone Strider Plus 600W (review)
-The already mentioned OCZ ZT-series (review for the 750W model)

Yeah the ZT 750w definitely isn't a bad PSU, if you really want fully modular on your budget, that is what I would go with.
