hmmmmmm, my vote goes to razer cause I dont trust logitech with my sound anymore HOWEVER, personal preferences ensues, where for me comfort is my main priority in buying a headset.
I've havent heard much about the Megalondon, and I've always had bad experiences with Logitechs headsets.

were you thinking about buying one or the other?

I was leaning towards the razer but will the razer sound software make games lees compatible than logitechs dolby?

I personally prefer the G35. Clear sound and the microphone on it is brilliant.

i have a set of G35 there a good set of head phones, i dont like razer gear i been though 3 sound cards and 2 sets of head phones there just cheap crap.

Did you read TPU's own review of the Razer USB headset, there horrible 7.1 doesnt even work correctly.

Personally I'd go for the G35's but whats best IMHO is the Razer Caranida's though they are not 7.1(5.1) and 3.5mm but for the price there great.

If im not wrong the megalodon is the one with 7.1 surround, right. If it is go for it, otherwise get the G35

The Logitech G35 also feature virtual surround which is the same thing as the Razer. Check the headset thread. Both the headsets you mention are poor performers compared to a good headset being powered by an onboard soundcard or PCI solution.

I think u should make this into a poll, but I will say my opinion is biased to Logitech. Not saying Razer isnt good, I like both!

well i've had the Razer Barracuda AC-1 with the HP-1 Headphones and they did go way lounder but did not sound better than my G35's
