At Computex 2017, Galaxy showcased two of its most premium graphics cards based on NVIDIA's GTX 1080 Ti chip. The GTX 1080 Ti OC Lab Edition features a Hall of Fame branded waterblock of appealing design, even if the colored power cables on the left of the unit do break the pleasing color scheme. The card features 3x 8-pin power connectors, for those of you who like to run wild with your overclocks. From the box, this card features a base 1569 MHz clock and a 1683 MHz Boost.

The second graphics card showcased by the company is the GTX 1080 Ti HOF Limited Edition, which makes use of the same 3x 8-pin power connectors, but sheds the waterblock for a triple-fan cooling solution. Strangely, this card features higher out-of-the-box clocks than the waterblock-equipped version, at 1645 MHz base and 1759 MHz boost. There is a LUMIN X branding on the cooler shroud, which indicates the usage of Galaxy's lighting system. It also features an LCD screen for graphics card status information, like operating temperature and current clocks and voltages.

I hope that 2nd card is truly limited release, it is ugly.

Wonder what the availability and price of the waterblocked one will be.

I love the white PCB and feel as though the cooler would look pretty good if it didn't have that "crown" looking part above the middle fan.

Totally agree! It would be great to have some white PCB card myself, but cards like this costs as much as my whole PC. :D

They are back to Galaxy again???? Thought they were Galax?

Edit: the last picture shows its still Galax. ;)

You guys need an editor? Will work for gpus... :p

someone clearly didn't read GALAX on the little paper above the card
Ha, i clearly didnt see this post either... :)

Galaxy/GALAX/KFA2 are all the same, but different brands IIRC.

No... galax was galaxy....they dropped the 'y' like 2 years ago when they merged. Its Galax here and KFA in Europe.

I get the impression that Galaxy is only for the Chinese these days?

i had the chinese 1080 HOF and it clearly says GALAX

But the site is still Galaxytech, I guess Galaxy is the main company, and GALAX & KFA2 are brands?

At Galaxy motto is: no heatsink is too large, no heatsink is too kitsch.

My gut is turning upside down just looking at the picture.

Meh, reference 1080 ti with aquacomputer nickel block looks 100 times better and also overclocks the same...

The only thing that's really nice is the triple 8 pin PCIe connector arrangement so you can have moar of the fancy sleeved cables in your case :)

Galax tech is a group that owns several companies. Or sometimes different names. But a Chinese company, and for Europe they chose Poland to create Kfa2

Anyway, read my links... galaxy and kfa merged to form galax. You see on the box its galax and there is a kfa mention... but its galax... not galaxy like the thead title says, my only point (the news people here need fact checkers and editors.. :p).

IKR man, they also put personal insights on some articles when sometimes all that's needed is to report the news...

It was much better before IMO.

Damn man, you're always arguing with me.

I guess this shroud is what is witholding me from doing an all-white/black accent build.

Its the only option, and no... not gonna happen.

Still want more white components! Neutral, looks flashy with RGB... come on already!
