I just got my friend Tomb Raider for his laptop, since its his birthday today. he is running an i7, GT540m, and like 6-8GB of memory. However he keeps having problems where his system shuts completely off when he is playing. Not just an unresponsive black screen. He is running NVidia's new beta drivers for the game. tried messing with some settings, that previously causes Tomb Raider to crash on Nvidia setups. I told him to run the Steam Verify game cache, but haven't heard of the results. Has anyone else had a game completely shut their system off?
I have never heard of it.
