Games with the best Replay value

Its sad i know, but no game has replay value for me, I don't think I ever replayed a game from start to finish after I ended it.

most of the games you guys named have no replay value what so ever!!!! example bioshock, what replay value that game has?......NONE-same story, same characters, same coridors, same guns, same powers-game has NO REPLAY VALUE. but for example left 4 dead 1&2 you get massive replay value.

Exactly how do you get "massive replay value" from these games in offline single player? Same guns, same zombies, etc etc etc.......

Did you read the OP?

What exactly is the first boss fight in the game???

Maybe I didnt explain it well...you start the game ,you come to that town and shortly after introduction and everything else, there is a horde off zombies coming and that big guy with the axe..its impossible to kill him...or?

Shoot him until he stops and grabs his face, wrenching in pain, then run up to him and a prompt should appear to use melee on him (punch, kick, w/e. Do NOT try and use the knife ) - do that a couple times, and he will drop easily.

Yes, punching and kicking him does more damage than a shotgun to the face, go figure.

cheers!! I will try that next time...Im just waiting for new parts,so I will be reinstalling windows.no point until then..but can wait to play it

Icewind Dale 1 and 2!

Also Xenon 2 ( old!)

Dragon age: Origins. You can play it for at least 3 times with different choices and there are 6 origin stories (6 versions of the first few hours of the game), each one has different effects on the encounters of the entire game and how the NPCs react to your character.

Tower defense games can give you good replay value.
You're always trying to do just a little better than the last time with a change of tactics (less towers, different towers, etc.)
I like Defense Grid : The Awakening and go back to it regularly when I have a few moments to play.

You should play Dead Rising 2. Not a great story. But you can mix up weapons and kill zombies like a psycho :D

Other than that.. GTA IV/GTA EFLC, Mafia II and Just Cause 2 :)

Titan Quest (with Immortal Throne expansion) has quite a bit of replay value. The game is REALLY long and has a lot of fun masteries combinations and weapons to use with them. The gameplay gets repeditive, but the enemies are varied enough that it makes you want to keep pushing forward; especially since you can use different types of weapons/skills to suit different types of game play (ranged, melee, magic, pets).

Even within each gameplay type, you can focus on different types of damage (physical, piercing, elemental, damage over time, vitality/life/bleeding, poison/disease). Each different enemy has different resistances and attack strategies too, so while you might breeze through one area of the game, another might be incredibly challenging with the same tactic. It even has decent graphics and effects to boot!

Just about any decent RPG is going to have good replay value by giving you the option to choose other races and classes. You most likely will end up doing the same quests and story again, but from a different perspective.

Plants vs. Zombies.

I feel all games that permit online play with other people are the best reruns or replays as the play is always different when playing real people..I always get some kind of grasp on AI. I can get the feel of the AI pattern.

I may be the only person on the planet who feels that PvZ is not that fun.
Maybe I'm missing something. :/

Alpha Protocol, by far. I beat it like 5 times and I know I didn't get all the possible endings.

Dragon Age: Origins too. You have to beat it at least 6 times to get everything and that's 60+ hours each.

Witcher EE is a good suggestion (3 plays), as is Mass Effect (4 plays, very hard to get all achievements in 3 plays).

Half life 1 + 2

Have to give another bump to Titan Quest, can play that one over and over and over again trying the different combos. It's not bad if you were a diablo fan.

Yup, played them, im still trying to finish Dead Rising 2, I find Mafia 2 quite unpolished and Just Cause 2... maybe Ill try to squeeze more playtime out of it. :banghead:

One more thing, Im always playing games at the highest difficulty,
Maybe its the reason i'm not enjoying??

Last Gen and last last gen, When i was still very very young I would select the easiest diff. and have LOTS of fun.

Plants vs. Zombies.
I played that too!!! haha. its so popular here with kids, oldies, and 'untechie' persons.
