there was a Ti-4800 it was based on the NV28 core and was 300/650 same as the Ti-4600 just with AGP8x

Ah, so it wasn't a 4800 I had then....I sold it well over a year ago, so I couldn't remember which one it was. It would have been a 4600 then.

if it was AGP 8x it was Ti-4800 if not it was Ti-4600

there was also a agp8x version of the 4200, but that was decently weaker than the 4600.

4200 = 250/500 (some agp8x)
4400 = 275/550
4600 = 300/600
4800 = 300/600 agp8x

It was 4x, because it was bought a long with a brand new motherboard. It was the first one we had that supported AGP 4x

haha whats you point my ti4200 64mb 4x clocks to 360/660 and beats out all of the series even with oc'ing
