Hello community, Im new on this forum. Well 4 days ago I bought this video card, and when I wanted to install it on my PC it only turns on but does not give video, windows does not recognize it either, not even in device management.
Along with the GPU they gave me a case with an MS-7641 VER4.0 motherboard, AMD FX processor, 4GB DDR3, and it works perfectly and without any problem,
it is detected as such and I can perform benchmark tests, it does not have high temperatures or errors.
I already updated your bios but still no other solution works?

the specifications of the pc where it does not work are:
MB Asus B250H Gaming
Intel i5-7400
16GB DDR$ RAM
Power Supply Cooler Master M2 Silent Pro 850W.

Do you have a known working GPU you can test?

Yes I have a GTX 1050 Ti and GTX 1650 and works fine on both PC´ but the RTX only works on the OLD pc

How about the GPU driver? Have you tried a clean removal and install?

Multiple times, I use DDU to clean unisntall drivers and prove diferents versions of NVIDIA. When try to install the deivers in my PC the error appear because the GPU its no detected, Only can Install the drivers on the Old PC.

Already I have this Bios version on the Motherboard

I think they used the GPU for Mining, and that's why I work the GPU with the old PC that was where I was installed, there will be any way for investments of Voltage?

How about the PSU cables have you tried swapping them? Reconnecting them on both sides just to make sure? Both CPU and PCIE cables are 8 pin now also, just brainstorming here :)

let me try that, and thanks for helping me. nwn!

with fx system, under load does it fully utilize pcie x16, or stays at x8? could be defective card, thing is with amd and intel systems in certain cases they interpret the pcie lanes differently, i tested a faulty 1660 and with intel system it didnt work, was stuck at boot. While with amd it worked fine but only x4. turned out to be main gpu defect.

The FX was showing the PCIe 1.1 x8, the Intel didn't recognize it at all. I reckon it is UEFI issues, corrupted/modified VBIOS, or a hardware failure.

yeah, but it could simply be energy saving mode, the op should definitely test it under load and see the readings.

this is the ops second thread
hes got something else going on he's apparently tried two different platforms at this point

Yep, his card is showing up in a FX based system, but is not in the LGA1151 system.

Here's another thread created by OP:

I tried other GPUs (GTX 1050ti and GTX 1650) on both PCs and they work fine and are detected correctly, will the RTX have any modification?

Should be, any sort of GPU benchmark will work. Make sure to start GPU-Z after the benchmark starts.
Ok thx!!!

ops doing something wrong or hes got a dead B250H and Z690 prime
