GPU Database

Just wanted to correct the 9800GTX. It is the G92 core. Also i have a Geforce FX 5600 with 256mb of DDR. Thank you for the list :)

I notice you don't have a ati raedon 3200 HD listed. Its a very awsome graphics chip integrated into the motherboard of my computer.

Data source?

It sounds like a lot of the information in the GPU table comes from suggestions in this forum, but can someone tell me where the other data comes from? Company press releases, trade magazines, or what?

Thanks.

adding ATI Radeon X1200 (onboard)

Hi,

well, I have submit my data of GPU (ATI Radeon X1200 onboard)... so it can be add your (TechPowerUp!) database....

Since it seems that Gainward had atleast 3 models of the same 8255 Bliss+ card, I wanted to submit mine for the database.

At first notice is that the GLH has a 500 1400 spec's, with 20/20/7.
Upon removing the Heatsink, I discovered that mine has 1.2 ns ram, insread of 1.4.
Basically it is a 7900GT PCI-e card on an AGP bridge, and will clock at least as much as the GTX PCI-e model.[670+/1600] and this is on only 1.2v.

Although the BIOS in the database has the same #'s as mine, I have higher default clock spec's.

Hi, i see in the database is the GeForce 9600 GS missing, it can play Crysis DX10 at 1280x768 (16:10) with 30 FPS at all High or everything without the shader at Very High. I think NVIDIA hasn't it on thier list because its maybe a OEM GPU?
Here are its spec:
-G94 Chipset, 505 Million Transistors, 65nm, Die Size 240mm²
-500 MHz Core/1250 MHz Shader/500 MHz Memory
-768 MB DDR2 @ 192Bit
-48 Cores
-ROPs:12
-PCI-E x16, 24 GB/s

Hello, please an you tell me if with nvidia geforce 9500 gs does have what it takes to use the pcsx2?

GPU information

Hi, I'm working on a research project at Marquette University that involves classifying GPU specifications for various GPUs connected to computers.

Who can I contact to get access to this server for consistent updates of gpus and the specifications they have?

Any help with identifying gpus and the power they have is much appreciated.

The 9600GS(O) has either (G92)192bit/96sp or (G94)256bit/48sps

that info is wrong the G94 version of the chip is not 192bit

wrong forum for asking that but if I had to guess, not that card is not fast enough.

Why are there no 3dfx Graphic Cards in the Database?!?
For Example:
3dfx Voodoo 5 5500
Chip: 2x VSA-100
250nm
2x 166 MHz Core
2x 166 MHz RAM
2x 32 MB SD RAM
AGP 2x
Bandwith: 128 Bit

what about 4830

If you look closely at the database there's nothing in there before GF4 or 9000 series, they were launched 4/02 & 8/02. So I guess because sadly 3dfx demised some time before the cut off they just didn't bother with them :(. Would be nice to have older cards in there, from say the Voodoo 1 era onwards.
Although I don't suppose most people are bothered by that?

thats right too.
but from 3dfx there wont come nothing else.
the cards that exists are the only ones.
no more no less.
and so i think gpu-z could support a few cards. not all, but a few.
and the database wont be explode by adding these cards

9800gtx+ (55nm) is not listed

Hi,

THe Nvidia 9800gtx+ is not listed.

Please add.

I believe the HD 4870 is missing from the ATI section...

Also, is this database supposed to be in a certain order? It looks like its overall from low end to high end, but for example, I'm pretty sure GTX 295 > 9800 GT, even though 9800 GT is lower on the list (physically).

Please add in the database:
  • "ATI Radeon X1650 Pro (AGP)":
    • Dev ID=1002-71C2 (ATI, Radeon X1650 PRO AGP)
    • Subvendor ID=174B (Sapphire/PCPartner)
  • GPU = RV530 @ 600 MHz (technology 90nm ; die size: 150 mm²) (running at 594MHz on my system)
    • Pixel fill rate: peak 2.4 Gpx/s ; Texel fill rate: peak 2.4 Gpx/s
    • Capabilities: 4 ROPs, 12 Pixel Shaders (model 3.0), 5 Vertex Shaders (model 3.0)
  • Video RAM =
    • 512 MB of dedicated DDR2 RAM @ 400MHz (on 128-bit bus)
    • Transfer rate : 12.7 GiB/s
  • Interfaces =
    • AGP 8x (running at 8x)
    • (no CrossFire)
  • Sensors =
    • GPU temp.~ 64°C ; PCB temp~ 51°C
    • Fan speed~26% under Vista destktop without heavy graphics.
  • Validation ID = ncu9v.
Current video driver for Vista: ATI Catalyst v.7.14.10.0636 (compatible DirectX 9.0c/SM3.0, certified for Vista)

This graphics card may seem old for you, as I bought 3 years ago to replace an older card on a Athlon XP 3200+ system (at that time it was still performing very well and it still gets good scores in Vista, depsite there's no PCI-express bus, but only AGP).

This graphics card still gets very decent performances today, even on this AGP model, thanks to the large amount of builtin video RAM and to the AMD HyperTransport, which is in fact doubled on my motherboard with a second HT bus for drives and a fast cache between the two buses in addition to the Athlon XP processor's caches and the specific cache for the system's RAM which is split into 3 banks working independantly with their own buses. In addition this graphics card can also take (dynamically) an additional 256MB of shared memory through the AGP and secondary HyperTransport bus, when instructed by the applications or the system's Driver, but msot of the time this is not needed: games can easily fit their textures directly on the graphics card (so the AGP bus is not a bottleneck).

The only bad thing is that it does not implement the new unified Shaders model 4.0.

Hi !

I'm using à S3 Graphics 440 GTX : GPU-Z recognized it well but S3's cards aren't in your data base.

I know that few people use S3 graphics cards but I think that we are more than XGI's users...

Request GPU Database

Hello Mr. W1zzard,

Can You help me to have GPU database for ATI x1050? I want it to play PCSX2 in my computer, so i need this for play. Thanks for the help.

Best Regards and Many Thanks,

Dave Savio :)
