Graphics card only runs with X1 instead X16

It cuts the multiplier, not the lane count.
This might depend on GPU. My Nvidia Quadro K600 powers down to 1x lanes according to GPUz and once putting load will shift upward. Unless I'm reading it wrong. I thought the x# was the lane count.
 
Yes a tried all ghis shizzle. But nothing changed something. But thanks to all for help and give tips. I wish you all happy holidays.

Your PCIe x16 slot is directly connected to the CPU - it's just simple traces to the socket for all of the data pins in the slot - so it's unlikely that the slot is defective unless there's board damage, at which point you'd likely have far more problems showing up than just the PEG lane count.

Yes your motherboard is a cheap, basic model but in the absence of more data the CPU is the #1 suspect here and the motherboard being to blame is less likely. It's why I suggested removing/reseating your processor and inspecting for bent pins, stray thermal goop, or contaminants in the socket itself.

Just remember with AM4 that the CPU likes to glue itself to the heatsink and gets ripped out of the socket with the locking lever still down as you remove the cooler. It's always worth twisting the cooler a little to break the seal before pulling up to remove it.
 
I have same issue.
Any GPU i put in reads X1 even under load.
Performance is hindered obviously.
Tried another CPU, no change.
Updated to latest firmware, no change.
I think this board NEVER had X16 pcie slot to begin with and its just a gimmick because i cannot seem to trace any of the data OUT pins from the slot to the core using multi meter diode mode.
They simply floating as if the CPU does not have these pins internally connected anywhere.
Using AMD YD2200C5M4MFB Ryzen 3 2200G 3.5 GHz Socket AM4

It all depends on the board and what devices is connected to the pcie lanes that is interfacing to the cpu or the southbridge. As the first pcie lane closest to the cpu is x16 but if the nvme is connected on the same lane it would drop the interface from x16 to x8 due to it being shared with the gpu. But if the problem is gpu stuck on x1 it can be caused by the tiny filters caps gone missing near the gold contacts pads these can be knocked off easily by rough handling or the gpu been dropped. Try another gpu to see if the problem is resolves or continues then it may be the board is damaged as it could have severed traces on the back of the board linking the pcie to cpu as you have to look closely using a magnifying glass. Then again you might got unlucky with the board being defective

Actually it only has 8 lanes, not 16
 
In my opinion the IGPU is off, there is no explict switch in my bios.
if you don't see the gpu in gpu-z dropdown or device manger then its auto disabled by bios.
