@DeadlyTitan 7200rpm and 64mb cache is alright but I would prefer a 128/250GB SSD for Windows 10 if u can squeeze a cheap 128GB ssd into ur budget with the GTX 1080 Ti it would be much more prepared than any hdd even I got a WD Gold 1TB 7200rpm and 128MB cache it would properly run Windows 10 without many problems but I would still go for a small SSD any day.

I already have my boot drive (240 GB SSD), if that is not what you are speaking of then am confused a bit.

Quick second question, do you guys think its worth it to entirely skip on both SSD and 1080 Ti upgrade options and go for i7 8700K +High end cooler and OC it to 5.0 ghz than sticking to i7 8700(non k) ?

what i am trying to say is

i7 8700k @ 5.0ghz + Gtx 1080.

or

i7 8700 + GTX 1080 + 512 GB SSD.

or

i7 8700 + GTX 1080 Ti.

8700+1080Ti is a better choice, if you look at gaming benchmark at 1440p resolution you'll notice that on such GPU the CPU doesn't matter, you'll be surprised but lots of games have almost identical meaning 1-6 FPS difference between Ryzen 3 1200 and 8700K

Some examples using GTX1080 at 1440p

Rise of Tomb Raider = 8700K:92FPS - Ryzen 3 1200:92FPS - FX8370:86FPS
Ghost Recon Wildlans = 8700K:71FPS - Ryzen 3 1200:68FPS
Deus EX:MD = 8700K:70FPS - Ryzen 3 1200:68FPS
Watch Dogs 2 = 8700K:59FPS - Ryzen 3 1200:55FPS

The higher your resolution = higher GPU bottleneck = Less CPU effect on FPS = Faster GPU > More FPS

How many different games are you playing per week? You can go a long ways on a single SSD just by "preloading" it with the game you intend to play that week, just drag and drop it off your HDD into the SSD while you take a 5 minute break. When you get back, enjoy your fast load times.

The average FPS might be the same but the minimum frame rate will be better with 8700K.

I would say wait for black friday to see if some deals come up, but since I'm living in a similar country as you I believe there wont be any black friday deals, just a regular price.

Question is, where exactly is he from...maybe we can provide better thoughts once we know that?

On topic, get a Ti. You have a 240GB ssd which is fast enough. The difference you will get with a new one is not worth it in my opinion.

That really depends if my friends are joining me or not, if my friends are dropping by then i'll be having a weekend lan party, but if they are not then i might just play a single player game which will last me anywhere between 2 to 6 weeks depending on how much time i have on hand.

Yep i feel the pain, those black friday deals make me cringe so hard lol.

why not take the bus for a weekend trip to a country close by, or maybe a good friend/relative can get one in a different country and ship it?
i would wait till next release if you plan on keeping the card for longer, as a 1170/2070 should be cheaper but have same perf.

Thank you all for the responses and help, you guys were really responsive and provided me with good suggestions. I have decided to go with the i7 8700(non K ) + GTX 1080 ti Combo above all. I've concluded that this combo will yield me better performance than the rest.
