if u can overclock the 460 to 900mhz core, it is faster than any 5850 and will match the 470 if not faster.

im going to buy a MSI 460 tomorrow and report back.

I highly doubt this. show me some benches that show a 460 OCed beating a 5850 OCed. I can OC my 5850 to 1000 core and 1200 mem and it has gotten up to a 480 stock on some benches and passed it on others.

please someone help me.

i am having an issue with mmy gtx 460.

i get restarts as soon as i start my game just cause 2.

it has something to do with the voltages.

i had to downclock my q8400 cpu from 3.60ghz to 3.00ghz to avoid the shutdowns.

what the hell is wrong?

my motherboard has a massive voltage leakage. i had to keep increasing the voltage in order to get my cpu stable at 3.6ghz. now i had to downclock it when i upgraded to a GTX 460.

can anyone tell me the problem? my PSU is Silverstone strider 560w. is it the issue?

What he means is that this thread is not for your issues, it is to talk about SLI's GTX 460's performance against a single 480, whilst I understand your frustration at having a nice new card that seems to be giving you some trouble, you would be better off posting your issues perhaps in the GTX 460 clubhouse thread here..........
