On the higher end, standalone DACs and XLR connectors could be discussed. Different types of encoding/decoding could be talked about as well, like what the difference between Dolby Digital Live and Dolby Digital EX/surround EX/plus/true HD are...

The TRRS connector's looks surprised me when I first saw it. I was expecting something like an XLR and ended up with something that looks like a standard 3.5mm jack (with an extra ring).

You could add the TRRS connector to the connector section. It has the potential to become the industry standard for portable balanced headphones and in-ears.

For pics just take one from the RE-ZERO review.

Cheers,
Frederik

I'll probably add TRRS in at some point . . .

I'll give some thought to the different encoding/decoding methods - that'll probably get put in with system setup . . .

Thanks, man - I figured this would be a good sticky to have in this sub . . . I think there was one other I had discussed with Mussels after this sub was opened (before any mods were selected to corral the cattle here), but can't remember it off the top of my head :p

Creative cards use the TRRS connectors, i bought a Creative connection lead a few years ago, and it had them on one end and phono/Rca on the other.
