Hi all, I have asus ati 2400 mobile, 128mb ddr2, 64bit, default clocks gpu:450, mem:400 and now i'm on gpu:567 and mem: 567 too.
I just have few issues/questions:
1. why overclocking works only on amd gpu overclocking? when I try to overclock on atitool, I move slider up, and press apply, but it returns back to default clock position, on ati tray tool same thing.
2. why I can't dump my video bios? ati tool, says: Could not load bios from card.
3. ati power play states look a bit weird:
4. what is UVD?
Thank you!
1) You need to have powerplay enabled for Atitool 0.27 b3 to work. Make sure it is set to "maximum performance" or you'll get a complete system hang. Also, after clocking with ATITool powerplay won't do anything anymore, so switching it back to maximum battery is not gonna downclock your GPU until you don't restart the pc.
2) I don't know why, but this happens on my Card too (HD2600 Mobility), I suppose it's some kind of safety lock by the manufacturers?
3)Indeed, though I don't know how they look on mine with this analyzing tool (is it Sandra?)
4) UVD= Unified Video Decoder (I think), basically it stands for the Enginge that handles Hardware-based decoding of H264 and VC-1 stuff; I believe it also partially accelerates MPEG 2.
Now a question from my side: Which AMDGPUClocktool do you use? It kind of looks diffrent to mine, I have nothing that indicates my Bus Speed or UVD-Status. Mind sharing that file?
Edit: Just seen there is the new Version up on TPU. Seems to be a lot more stable and it also shows me what it shows on your image. I just wonder why is PCI-E always on 16x? I thought that those energy-saving thingies should turn that down to 1x or something like that if not needed (can't think of aereo needing the full 16x?)
