Hello everybody!

I come here to find help, i meet a trouble with my new GPU, i checked everything, i updated my BIOS, but it's been 3 days i try to find why my bus width is locked at 96 bit, i checked on google, its should be at 192.
I think it's why on GTA 5 for exemple..my FPS keep around 35 fps with full settings in 1080 p . My processor is Ryzen 5 3600 with 16 Giga DDR4 .

Thanks for your help!

David.

Probably just an error, if it really was 96bit you'd only get half of the memory, that can't be right.

my FPS keep around 35 fps with full settings in 1080 p .

What does full settings mean, some options can totally kill the framerate.

I set all FXAA MSAA and Anisotropic filter off, all is on very high. my fps is lock at 30 fps

run any 3dmark ya like and compare?

Need white sticker info from card back please.

Also ensure windows power properties are at maximum performance or download a ryzen power profile.

Yes i already checked about the Windows power properties, i put it at maximum performance.Hum Nvidia inspector show me same 96 Bit... i just installed Gears 5 and everything turn at 60 fps with all ultra settings. So as said Vya Domus, that's maybe just a bug, still can play at games, only gta is still very slow.. it seems i have trouble with directx 11 games! i'm donwloading a directx benchmark now... i will see

Get a techpowerup review, set 1080p ultra for GTA V and compare FPS averages.

If you're in the same ballpark most of the time without weird stutters or major framedrops, card is fine and its a readout error.
If its not, may want to get a refund.

Here's a perfect link - if you're seeing 35 FPS at ultra and no higher resolution scale or DSR active, might very well be a dud. Make sure the game is installed on SSD. But even on HDD it shouldn't be that low.
\

Do the same comparison for Gears 5 to verify if its the game or the hardware as well. Might very well be some bug, driver or version problem as well. Make sure you run with uncapped FPS.

Thanks!
I made many try this evening, gears 5, far cry 5, with ultra settings, always around 60 fps, i meet trouble only with GTA, i did a benchmark too..time spy score is 4300..so i think my card work fine, except with GTA.. but my bus width keep at 96 bits. I found it strange..on every game my fps never gomore than 60 fps..

I feel like it is either GPU-Z having an issue with that particular card, or you got your hands on a 1050 flashed to 1060 from a strange dark place from the internet.

White sticker info would be nice

White sticker here, i bought this card to a friend, he gave me the invoice, this is not a fake one.

Just run the "gpgpu benchmark" from aida64 on this card.
If you get higher value in "memory copy" than what gpu-z calculated, then everything is fine.

It's fine, those are the same numbers I got back when I had a 1060 too. It's just a error, maybe @W1zzard knows more.

Any chance an older driver fixes the readout? Somehow this looks like an NVIDIA driver bug

Edit: In our GPU-Z results database see 4 cards like yours with 96 bit, so you're not alone, but 4 is a quite low number

Ok thanks for all, i will continue my investigations to know where this bug come from but anyway, ya my card is working fine.

Do open a ticket at NVIDIA, they respond quickly, maybe this can help gain some insight

Yes, good idea! I will!

Hold up. I had to use your upc to find your specific card.

Tbf with you i would download the newest gpu driver for your card, the latest motherboard chipset driver, display driver uninstaller(DDU) and 2nd to newest GPU-Z. Unplug your ethernet/disable wifi, uninstall gpu-z.

uninstall the gpu driver twice in windows once in safe mode using DDU restart, then select shut down option in ddu, shut down, turn power supply off, pull the card and reseat in pcie slot. Then boot back up, install latest chipset driver. Restart, then install latest gpu driver. Then install gpu-z

These files are your bios for your card. I would suggest using kfa or galax/galaxy only.

Thanks! I already used ddu before install my card, my bios is last one because i had to flash it before install my ryzen 5 3600. I tried other benchmark ( sisoftware ) and the values are good finaly..even if when i check on my card properties i still can read 96 bits. For now almost all my games are full fps so its fine...i'm waiting to install Red Dead Redemption 2 and i will see
