Howdy lads.
I'm considering a Ryzen build and I want to keep the costs as LOW as possible and see how far I can go in terms of specs and performance.
I'm trying to keep the budget to 500 if possible but I'll spend more if there's much reason too.
Firstly I'm considering The AMD Ryzen 3 1200 + GTX 1070 combo or the AMD Ryzen 5 1600 + GTX 1060 combo.
From experience.. I think the first option is the better of the 2 as more GPU power usually means better FPS in most games. I could always buy a Ryzen 5 or 7 in the future once I build up more cash.
I've been out of system building for awhile so I'm not so sure where the best places are right now to buy parts from?!
I'm used to using: http://www.komplett.ie/
Not sure if I should be looking elsewhere?
I did notice that scan.co.uk offers a finance loan type packages which seem very attractive but I don't trust?????? Do you trust in that option? Should I consider that method?
Firstly I will be using a Samsung EVO 840 256 SSD drive in there.. I also have an Antec Gamer PSU that I will also carry over to this rig and I've got the monitor and mouse + keyboard + case already so that leaves only the essentials "GPU-CPU-RAM-MOBO"
I play total war games and RPG + open world games mostly. SO I would imagine a good CPU is required for these genre type.
SO what would yee build?? Try to keep the costs as low as possible and discuss!
