meh for themost part yes but its not always so cut an dry

Creative Assembly with Shogun 2 put an auto graphics downgrader code into the game so if you have 1gb of vram and play at 1920x1080 and max out settings if its over the 1gb vram limit it auto downgrades your graphics settings without telling you and entering the graphics menu options it still shows the options you set. its a sneakier version of what GTA IV has. so somethings are not so cut and dry. these mis information situations also impact hardware reviews..

seen more then a few reviews stating AMD was completely dominated in Shogun II by Nvidia but after the info of the above broke out and the settings were forced situation drastically changed

with even 2x GTX 580s losing to 2x 6950s due to vram alone. so its begining to happen just we wont see a real shift towards 2gb being mandatory for another 8-16months.
