How to Enable ATI Eyefinity in Games?

this is the issue...

When i have ATI CF on i cannot create group!

when i disable crosffire i can create a group!

Take that up with AMD. Unfortunately, seems like more than 2 gpus is not supported.

Quadfire and Eyefinity is flat out broken. ATi claims it works, but it doesn't for almost everyone. ATi support is non existent as well. basically congrats on wasting a shitload of money.

What's really stupid is that you really do need more than 2x 5870 for eyefinity, yet that's the one place it doesn't work..and the working configs are far too slow to be enjoyable.

Hence my sour attitute on Eyefinity...If it was as simple as just tossing more money on a rig to get it working right, I would...

And sure, 2c5870 is OK with an overclocked i7...great. what a piss-poor way to introduce new tech...only works when you breach your warranty...:shadedshu

nV isn't doing much better in the multi-monitor front, but at least they don't allude to finctionality that's broken...they've simply said "were are not ready".

And don't get me started on teh DisplayPort issues..which...of course is required for eyefinity...and I got one of the 2GB cards here...OMFG IT DOESN'T WORK!!!

I haven't been posting much the past few days because I've been dealing with trying to get it working!

UBER FAIL ATI, UBER FAIL.

Display Port issues is one of the few I haven't run into. But yeah, Eyefinity is still a big huge gimmick and I'm pissed I bought into the hype.

i feel STUPID because i got a 3rd MONITOR! and now i have 3 monitors on my desktop fo rnothing!

i was a long time Nvidia fan and it was with difficulty i got the 5970s(to be fair the cards are amazing). Nvidia really disappointed me with the GTX 480(although the SLI setup rocks).

I guess i will jump again... soon..

Yes ATi drivers are not the same.

You could sell one of the 5970's. Even a single one is fast as hell. The few games that do work in Eyefinity run pretty well at a massive resolution.
