How To: Enable SLI on pre-i7/i5 hardware

unfortunately sli patch ver 0.7 just doesnt work on 32bit version

With modded ForceWare Numlock responds with blank screens until Ctrl + Alt + Delete are pressed then the system locks up.

Same as above when using stock ForceWare.

This is good.

Import the .reg file in the attached zip, reboot, then make your video go blank again.
But this time, hold down the Ctrl key on the right side of your keyboard and press Scroll Lock twice.
You should get a blue screen if it worked. The data that is collected could be useful for debugging this problem.

are u both using 64 ?i installed vista x64 on my other hard to test it will post soon

OMG why the sli patch doesnt run for me ???? when i press it it said
windows failed to start

file:\windows\system32\osloader.exe

info:the selected entry could not be loaded because the application is missing or corrupt

please help me .THANKS
 
hehe i copied files to the path manually but now i get BSOD before start up!!:eek::wtf:

man.. i understand your "anger" but its disrespectful to express comments like this "i WASTED.. .. OMG" .. this tool is provided as is.. with all good will from creators to help resolve problems, these last days i think they have spent much more hours than your "wasted" 12.. to help everyone not having their skills/knowledge to accomplish their own hack, to have a working/hacked sli setup.

Thanks. I loaded the dump but the stack text isn't quite what I had hoped. Also it's just a mini dump rather than a kernel dump, but then, I'm not very good at this yet, so it doesn't matter that much. Need to find out how I can force it to load the ntoskrnl symbols for the ntoskrnp module first or I won't get anywhere...

Your best bet right now would be to wait for anatolymik's new SLIPatch.

i installed the 258.96 driver and win vista x64 sli patch 0,8b first it sais the files missing i copied the files from sli patch to system32 manually then it passed that point and windows loading shows up but after that i get BSOD why is it from driver or what??

sorry man but i just want to know why it doesn't run ,
 
some time ago (months) windows had updated some core component and sli patch had created bsods to many ppl, but i think anatolymic/sveet.. etc had patched with latest file, is there any chance you havent updated windows for long time???

thanks but i just installed fresh copy of vista x64,no updates downloaded,
the win 7 32bit doesnt show bsod at boot just get straight to startup repair
,but i think the installer for the driver mod and the sli patch doesnt copy files for me ,so i did copied the sli patch 0.8b files to sys32 ,about the driver mod didnt replace the filed manually
as i searched the sys32 it has 4 copies of the nvixxxx file
 
Hey guys new to these forums,

I been running the previous patch w/ 257.21 super stable on my Asus CHIV F 890fx board and two gtx 470. I just recently did the latest update and its been very unstable.

-Initially, only one gpu was in use (corrected by applying changes/updates in the Nvidia cp)
-Start up recovery would come up on every boot and eventually crashed.
-Finally got it to work w/out start-up repair occurring, though I put my rig in sleep mode and either it would bsod, or would blank out w/ cursor only requiring powering off, or would take several minutes to wake.

I'm forced to go back to patch 0.8 and drivers 257.21 for now, its very stable. I'll be following for any updates.

Been reinstalling a few installs of windows. I'm ready to try the slipatch modder 1.1 on xp64, well almost... I'll see if I can get it to work, as the modded driver works for me under win7 64.

Do you have vista? if it is what SP you have? you must have sp2
 
Accordding to my last post:

At least I got new MB, Asus Stricker II Extreme but I have done last test on my Asus P5Q-Pro:

Heaven Benchmark without SLI bridge:
scores 1817
min fps 17.7
avg fps 72.1
max fps 154.4

Heaven Benchmark with SLI bridge:
scores 2153
min fps 16.2
avg fps 85.5
max fps 192.6

I've done new test on Asus ES2 and... They are higher than my best score on P5Q-Pro with E8400@4,25GHz!
Now I have only @3,6GHz cause I must get it know each other better ;) but my 2xGTX's 280 are on the same OC lvl.

So, score on P5Q-Pro was: 2153
new score is 2211 .... I know it isn't much better but... as I said IT IS ON 3,6 GHz - 650MHz lower than P5Q-Pro score and my memory isn't OC

Jeus... this MB is f....ing hard to OC :P or I'm doing something wrong

c'mon guys, more positive/new input ! I need it to get well, been coughing for days in high fever (hehe, still playing TrackMania, invbetween taking pills, goes better than EVER! ..must be coz of the modded driver !)

i just build a new system got a deal on some parts.
280 gtx(2x)
maximus extreme x38
quad core 9550
running win7 64 bit.

just installed the latest
forceware
sli patch
modded forceware b3
and the x64 sli patch 1.1

its all great and pretty stable so far.
3dmark 06 got score of 14856

but for some reason while playing crysis b3 seems a bit slower thab b2. maybe its just me but i felt crysis ran smoother with b2 .

stalker soc runs awesome and dirt 2 does as well. but after you quit game ussually crashes pc while quitting game..?.


crysis sometimes crashes while making video changes

i got plenty more games to try out later thanks again, for all your guys hard work:rockout::rockout::rockout:
