Hi, i have a HP Compaq dc7100, i want to overclock my computer.
I have try'd with systool and i use the settings on the webpage:

IDTCV123
But i cant get above the 6 FSB.
Are there recommended setting for this motherboard?

Thnk

Have yet to find a software program that will overclock a HP/Compaq, (HP/Compaq motherboards are propritary and not supported). Thre are no options in you BIOS for overclocking, just basic set up selections and Boot options.

At the bios i cant find anything to overclock it, but on the systool program it says it accepts the dc7100 motherboard..?
Its really crap...

and what do you man with boot options?

Boot option as to what to boot from at startup. Even though the DC7100 mobo is on the support list, it is most likely locked by HP.

Yup I cant get my HP board to OC either.

I have OC'ed my cousins HP laptop just fine, perhaps it has to do with the chipset?

You cant OC 99% of the boards from manufacturers like HP and Dell. Nothing you can do really.
